That's definitely my Bebita Colombian Wife Maria. From our bedroom with the door closed she'll be yelling for me to turn the TV down. Just wait till I get my new Rockville HS45 surround sound stereo system in and installed. That's going to be interesting times. Luckily she spends evenings at a friend's apartment watching her telenovellas. A 4 hour break for me 5 days week then on Saturday evenings she's off to her catholic Church. The first Sunday movie night we have she'll suddenly love surround sound.

The cabin looks great! With the pine T&G, be sure to let it sit inside and acclimate before you let them put it up. It can and will shrink up after it's installed. Dang near impossible to hide nails after that happens. I've hung miles of T&G. If you use #3 or better wood it has some awesome character and is a little bit cheaper. Then roll on some urethane after and it will be gorgeous!
The cabin is looking great. I don’t know exactly what your plans are for it but it’s a perfect size for what I would need in a full time house. Anyone that stays there will be very pleased with your efforts to make it a very comfortable experience. You always go all out on everything you do, that says a lot about the kind of person you are.
Cabin looks great! - but I had to pull up all of my Trex after one year. It was a similar color to yours, but even in the shade it was rocket HOT. You couldn’t even sit in a chair the heat was so bad radiating up. You could never go barefoot on it.

Looks like the horse arena pad is near to finished grade. I'll enjoy watching Chris final grade if with the motorgrader. The cabin is absolutely beautiful with everything a vacation renter could want. Especially with that spectacular view if the pond. Once Chris has the back restraining wall, deck and fire pit in he's going to have it booked solid at least a year ahead. I wouldn't be surprised if several of his channel subscribers rent it just so they can brag to their friends and fellow subscribers about it.

Fine job, doing a fine job with your eye sight you don't need any grade stick. Those horses won't know any difference. I always thought that we had the most Red Clay until I started watching you.
Trex decking is a good product. But just be careful when it gets wet. It can get very slippery. I handle it where I work. But you should be good with having a covered porch. But just be careful, is all. Love the videos.

Love the cabin and the finishes - gosh what a peaceful place it will be. Horse arena looking good and the placement of the stable is a better idea - makes more sense. Terribly dry - hope there has been some good soaking rain.
Chris the cabin is really outstanding. I got a suggestion . You put a black mesh screen around the lower deck to keep unwanted critters from making a home under the deck.🤔🐀🦨🐍

I love that cabin. I am getting older and the house we built 30 years ago that I live in is too big, but I love the acreage it sits on and the location. I have seen a lot of things working in construction since I was born basically. I have never seen anyone move/relocate a 30x85 brick earth contact home though!
I'm in heavy equipment training this month, go hand on labs training August 5. Can't wait. Watching Chris build ponds made me want to get into operation. Thanks Cris!!!

you should make a dock acess to the pond so you dont need to walk down the muddy bank - keep the feet clean and the mud out of the cabin - a concrete path down to the dock could lead to the fire pit and parvillion you spoke of. id not use gravel for that path - youll have more dirt in the house and people going for a swimm need footwear for walking 30 ft - its inconvenient- we switched it

I have a lake house I'm starting to rehab so I can live in it eventually. One of the plans is for metal siding similar to what you used here.
