Thank you SO much for posting this wonderful medley of hits by Vaughn! I believe this was his last appearance on the Sullivan show. He appeared on "Toast of the Town" right from the start in 1949. In fact, he sang "Ballerina" on a 1949 episode and I hope you will post that sometime. On this 1965 episode, he also sang his latest single, "Queen of the Senior Prom" and I'd love to see that too!

some trivia.....Vaughn was in an episode of Bonanza...which happens to be one of the funniest and best episodes of the whole series...really worth a look if you havnt seen it....i looked it up for you all...The Wooing of Abigail Jones...was the title........Episode aired Mar 4, 1962......season 3 ep......24
Can u imagine how many people watched this with the Beatles on ? Monroe was a great talent of another time but they also thought the Beatles were a flash in the pan

I think. Vaughn should be remembered more for his amazing voice than for all his top tens and number one songs.

I remember that voice from my childhood. My parents had records by him, Glenn Miller ect. His voice is so distinct.
