As soon as you leave your recent account directory , '~' changes to '/' and you are in the User's directory or Computer directory if you are in your 'root 'account else you'll end up into the ' home' directory where you can find other accounts , if you are were previously in the 'xyz_account' . What did u mean by saying Kali was not Debian-based, it was Linux-based, but now its Debian-based?
What is the difference between Debian and Linux? Why then we still call Kali "Linux"?
Debian is a distribution of linux , so kali is always going to be linux based...
He is wrong just ignore!!! Every distribution is based on Linux kernel... More than 365+

How you specify that which line for admin group and public from this code [-rwxr-xr-x]
-(***)(***)(***)
First three for Admin, next three for Group ,last three for Public.
So,
rwx (admin)
r-x (Group)
r-x (Public)
There's no such thing as admin.. it is for the user who created the file

Tilde sign is for home directory for root..😇
