What I think is interesting about this exchange, is that (in the "lore" at least,) Techno doesn't see himself as an unsung hero. He isn't misguided in that he thinks he is a savior who is freeing everyone from an oppressive government. He is doing solely to make his own life easier and to strike back at others.

I wasn't there for it, I joined at some point after Wilbur went on his "Let's destroy L'Manberg" arc, but I did watch it back. I get the whole 'not having time to watch/interest in watching streams'. You should check out EvanMCGaming, he has done a lot of what I'd call lore summaries on his channel. I don't remember if they include quotes or not but at least they are in a somewhat chronological order. He also has a video about technoblade himself, kinda like a tribute ^^ There's also KianKSG, but he mostly did lore summaries after each lore stream and theory videos, I don't know how much that'll help you understand what's going on. If you are talking about the egg in connection to dsmp, that was a side storyline that went on for a bit. It is very entertaining, but I don't know a lot about it. I just know it got people like Bad and Ant to help it with killing other people. Techno took it down. I think there's videos about it or at least vods from those streams somewhere on TH-cam. As for double life, that is a series that isn't connected to the dsmp. Instead, it features people from the wider mcyt community, for example members of hermitcraft or empires smp (both of which are pretty good as well, they're still ongoing and the creators post videos along with streaming). Double life was like a mod, two people were paired up and if one took damage, so did the other. It's one of I believe four life series so far ^^ If you want to dive even deeper into the lore connected to the dsmp, you could check out "Tales of the smp". It's a series that Karl started. Basically, every once in a while he'd get some of the dsmp members together and they'd play different characters in different settings. I don't know if there's a whole list of the tales somewhere, but it started of as 'let's play a murder mystery' and turned into a whole theater production with lore that tied back into Karls character from the dsmp. You see, Karl played a time traveler and he visited the distant past and future of the dsmp (he'd also go into a place called the in-between after each time travel but that's a whole other story). Unfortunately, I don't think there's an official place where all the vods from those streams are uploaded but I know they were a lot of fun to watch.
