  • Special thanks to BOSCH UK for sending this to me to test and try.
This is an honest review i would not of been able to without the offer of Bosch UK Sending me this product. T&C Highlighted are within the video.
All PPE and Safety practices were implemented and used during the production of the video. I am a trained professional and have been using industrial level equipment for a number of years now.
Always read the manual before using any power tool.
Overall, Really impressed by the quality and balance of light materials used but still keeping a rigid feel especially in the areas that counts. Light enough to be portable but heavy enough not to cause vibrations. The 12Amp Battery is super impressive with a large capacity and reliability. The fence is rigid being two part clamping, Both the bore size of the blade and T slots are industry standard which is great for using third party products.

Saw works superbly with the 8Ah batteries, which are my prefer choice,as they are also perfect for my circular saw & sds plus breaker, & when comparing with the Pro Core 5.5ah, they are same weight (0.955kg) ,plus they offer decent running time..
And FFX are currenting offering 8Ah Pro Core @ £114.95p inc vat.

Nice saw. Could you say where I can find a company to contact, please? I would like to know the dimensions in America along with attachments/prices.

Really useful and well timed video👍 as I'm looking to probably buy this model shortly. I appreciate you weren't going to get into in depth batteries but wondering how you think this model may run on an 8A rather than 12A battery?
I'm only planning to use this in my shed for very small projects/ crafts so like in your example, maybe an occasional chopping board, or a few strips of glued timber to make a chessboard. I certainly wouldn't be planning on running it for more than a few minutes, or putting tons of sheet goods are hard wood through it.
Only asking as I nearly cried when seeing the cost of the 12A battery * and charger which I'd need too.
No probs if you can't answer, but thought I'd throw the comment out there in case other viewers have any thoughts too.
    Cheers Anchor Designs. 👍

Bosch in their info about the saw, they say "for maximum power use ProCORE18V ≥ 5.5 Ah.”, as I said in earlier reply, the Pro Core 5.5Ah are same weight as Pro Core 8Ah,so I have a two of the 8Ah, the Pro Core 12Ah weigh 1.35 kg, are also just too expensive, & too unwieldy for use in other power tools unlike the 8Ah.
And the saw is optimised for the ProCORE 18V batteries..

Hi thanks for the comment! You absolutely don’t need the 12amp battery! A 5 would be fine I’m sure for what you need 👍
