Thanks for video. Saw this on today's Daily Deal at Lowes website which includes a free 8amp Profactor battery & charger. You hit the key points that sold me on it.
Using the fence on the left of blade is for cutting 45* bevelling after bevelling the other side of the piece. Otherwise the piece will get caught under the fence. There are other applications too but that’s the main reason I go fence left. Hope that makes sense. 😊however I’ve stuck melamine to the table with 2way tape if I’m running lots of beveled stock. This way the second pass to bevel the other side can’t get under as it’s raised. Obviously your fence has to be adjusted first. 😊
Have you ever tried running this on a 4ah battery? i have a bunch of 4 but nothing larger. I would only use it to be making a handful of cuts at a time. Runtime wouldn't really be an issue for me. Just want to know if it could cut 2x4 on the 4ah.
@@tooltipswithtommy That would be awesome. Thanks! Want to keep an eye out for any holiday deals on this saw. Im just a DIY guy looking for something small and portable for jobs around the house and i already have a bunch of bosch 4ah laying around.
😂 i trying to get it to Sweden for 14 months Seller head office. Order 1 from Ubuy 1300$ including Tax shipping . Think of showing it on Tools day. Make 🤑
Looking to pull the trigger on this very same table saw. Its been 8 months since your upload. Have you found any issues since? Do you still recommend it?
For my application yes. I liked my 10 inch corded table saw better, but I don't have the room for a fixed saw. I needed something more portable. This has all the power I need, and the portability.
Thanks for video.

Excited to see more of this in the future
Oh Tommy! That’s a wonderful piece of machine.

What was the outcome fueling this with the non-pro core batteries?? Did it run ok?
@mrmackie85 I'm sorry, but I haven't done it yet. My table saw is kind of tucked away at the moment.
Ordered mine!
Real shame we can't get this model in England, we have to make do with the Bosch GTS 18V-216.

Yes you ran it with a 12.000
Magic
Most powerful most potential
Nice
This is for some reason not available in Europe. Not even in Germany!
What is the difference with GTS 18V-216? That 08N version is only on the US bosch site. 8n means the blade is 8 inch, 216 = 216 mm blade.
@@Leo-pd8ww difference is how the fence is fastened. This version had a wheel, which makes it much more accurate. Just like with Dewalt and Milwaukee.
@@Leo-pd8ww completely different machines design wise, this is also smaller
im jealous
Same😢
