Insane find to make priest even faster levelers. Something I wanted to add is if you choose to do this as an alt priest on a pre-established server i.e. not the first week of a fresh server, EZ-thro dynamite and engineering explosives in general can be a great way to shave off time/make the runs quicker just to hit lockout that much faster.
i ran out of swiftness pot and started to Psychic scream when the first zombies are getting to me. Im near the vases when that happens. Did this all day yesterday and still doing today, so far no deaths. I get some hits but its fine, the worst result was 50%ish hp (lvl 46-50)
Keep in mind this video skips the first 3 reset spots from the previous video. To do that successfully while still mounted and not using an invis pot, you need to be higher level to pull less mobs. These mobs are green in the video. Been doing this successfully from 41-44 but still requires an invis pot each run. Excited to try scarab pulls at higher levels!
wanted to add to hopefully save someone some frustration, you need to activate the boss for the zombies to run towards him as you open the graves, if u dont they will immediately aggro on you
Getting there is a huge issue for me. 1/5 runs i get to the first reset spot, path is always filled with patrols and so many mobs that my shield is usually gone by the time i hit the first corridor.
I wanna try and learn this as well but this first jump to the first reset spot I just can't seem to get, so I can't even get to the zombies right now lol
3:46 dwarves cant get behind the pot, but they can still de aggro here if they wedge. There are a lot of spots in this video that make it really hard for dwarves in general.
Can confirm that female dwarf can do it, it's just harder than the other models. You have to jump + w and if you stick that landing, you jump again and hit forward.
You mentioned that if the patrol mob was the hexer that it was not doable. Have you considered using mind control to toss the bad mob into the opposite side reset spot on the boss alter? I know one time the healing ward mob was giving me some problems, healing the non-elites. I tossed him over the side with MC into the reset spot and it made him go away. Would this work for the hexer? What is the range on it?
Protip if you want to reset without alt or taking dura dmg from dying without taking gear off: aggro a mob, let it lower your hp to ~500, fear it, use skull of impending doom, let thedebuff kill you
@@tekn0de Thanks! I actually found it. I have to say, you make this look "easy". After a dozen tries to do the run at 40. I was like "Nope, gonna wait a couple levels."
Very nice video thanks for the tips ! I was struggling keeping thme packed up now I'll try with this new method ☺️, just a question as a level 42 there are loads of resists, so at thd end you get like 10xp for most the mobs because i didn't hit them constantly. Would you recommend using a lower nova rank just to make sure you always land double nova on mobs ?
I never had this problem at 42. I keep r1 on my bars but you're probably taking too long between novas. Ideally you only take 6 ticks of mana between novas
@tekn0de yeah definitely takes long between hits as sometimes I had to regroup the mobs, but it was before this new technic. So you're hitting the highest nova rank ? Or just r1
At 42 only like 10-20% should resist. The xp thing was explained in his first vid, but essentially too long between holy novas = cucked exp. you're not hitting the mobs often enough, or missing a couple each loop. You can safely do 2-3 hops between the walls to ensure the mobs stay clustered so you always hit each one. MSBT is also a handy add-on as you can track how many mobs you hit and when you know you have missed one and definitely have to hit them all next loop.
I cannot find an option for Interact With Mouseover in classic wow options. I can bind a key to interact, but is the Mouseover option requiring an addon that you did not mention?
Takes practice, but play around on the hill where you can and can't stand. Pull 1 mob and do your usual run and make note of where you can get meleed from when standing too close to the ledge. Then see how far back you can cast holy nova while still hitting the mobs. Can get tricky once mobs are below 15% as they slow down their movement speed. Ensuring they're always clumped helps immensely
small explanation on why stafe tapping alters the zombie movement at 9:10 The way the client updates player position relative to the server. A left or right movement forces a LOC update whereas "continued" forward movement updates on set intervals You can see this for example if you "fly" into an indoors location. If you just "fly" straight -- you don't get dismounted for a while. But if you tap A or D to initiate a left or right movement, you almost instantly dismount. So basically when you force tap a/d in the air, it's making the game think you are on the ground between the walls at floor level, and the zombies repath to that "updated" position momentarily Whereas just jumping, you don't get the position update Also you dont need to turn 90 degrees each time you jump to get it like you do in the video, I just spam tap A or D while in mid air and stop before I land, keeping the camera in the same spot as I started the jump at
Yes, I can confirm I've done this on my female dwarf priest. In order to jump up to the boss though you need to go on the wall and around on the mountains
You are AoEing them down, so chances are they will die pretty close to each other, so even if you had it, it will trigger pretty late. Not total waste, but prolly his spec makes more sense until 45+.
that first jump does not go as planned. and hav etwice the mobs chasing me than you do.. idk whats up with the guys making these videos.. but this perfect scenerio doesnt exist in my world
awsome guide man! struggled a bit at the start, but now its smooth

apparently i can do this because my char is female lol, i get through between vase and wall and the zombies have to circle around
I'm able to get away without using swiftness pot on my female nelf priest too, nice tip
How did you get to the kill location as a female dwarf - I can't get up into the corner to climb over

These are great guides.. Can you link me your armory please?. My issues is my mana management with holy nova and keep running out of mana
If you made a macro to jump and strafe left/right would that work? Idk if it’s possible but would help my fat fingers lol.
Is there a farm similar to this for above level 52 ? For XP, what do you suggest?
Thanks.
i have a problem of boss no de-aggroing and casting shadow bolts at me, any suggestions?

Sorry it's in my other video, but get holy reach, meditation, holy nova, and inner fire. Everything else is fluff

Solid vid, thanks for sharing. Fastest I’ve ever taken a priest from 40-50 by far. What level do you plan on leaving?
Idk about him
But im thinking 52 , after that i may run some brd+ jintha alor. Then come back for gold 53-54

Isn’t it a macro /cast [@mouseover] spell name
Does the mount help at 40? Doesnt sound like it would be viable until you can weave through without aggroing the whole dungeon
I managed to get through with mount and using mind sooth on certain mobs first at lvl 43 without consumes
what about the positioning of the kills? I often can only loot 50% of the mobs

So with priest kill speed is it not possible to loot the scarabs after killing the rest of the zombeis?
Nope not really
scarab part doesnt work for male dwarf, and the brazier jump doesnt work u get 1 clapped even with fear
anyone know why i would get 2xp per kill doing this?
You didnt hit the mobs for a long period of time. If you dont hit them once every 30 sec you get a lot less exp. I think he mentions it in the video.
