One Christmas eve while on guard duty in bright moonlight a soldier from the other side in the shadowers had oportunity to shoot Sankey but when he began to sing a song his mother would sing to him many times as a young boy he thought ill listen and shoot him when he is finnished. But to his amazment at the end of the song he had no stentgh to lift the gun and shoot. Sankey was D L Moodies song leader and many years later on the delaware river Sankey was singing the song The ninety and the nìne. When he finnished a man came to him and asked if he served and was on duty on Christmas eve of that year and have he said yes why is that. Well he said so was i and iwas going to shoot you but when you sang that song my mom used to sing to me i could not raise my gun to do so. Then all these years later i hear you sing again. He said to sankey would you help me find peace with God. Sankey gave him a big hug and they prayed. Even though i have just seen your cry to God for help i want to tell He is always there. I wandered away from God for so MN e 20years but when i finally turned for home He was right there and get as been by my side ever since. He wont leave you or forsake mate. Gods blessings always
Once there was a time when I was resentful, vengeful and angry, sad and lonely and then I didn’t realize how much God can change me and clean my heart and now that I found God in the year 2018 I’m happy, un afraid , loving, happy, forgiving, caring, and peaceful. 💙💧🫧

In 2008, A few months after my wife left, 2 little girls. I was trying to survive with so much debt and child support. Then my 1st girlfriend left who i poured my remaining heart into. I broke down crying. My broken spirit was talking by groans only God understood (romans8:26-27). I fell asleep on my knees and woke up with this song (on repeat) in my head "create in me..." and i felt totally at peace. Even maybe excited, I had what i need including family& friends.

As a western parent you see what happens if you give your kids everything they want -its never enough, pout more.
