i feel like i’ve been kidnapped by a radiohead fan and am being forced to hear them rant about the radiohead back-catalogue for 15 minutes. great video
I'm so glad someone else actually listens to these. It's so weird being the only one I know who does 😭I love tracks like The Trickster and These Are My Twisted Words, and Maquiladora and The Amazing Sounds are prob in like my top 20 tracks from them. Awesome video
I rarely comment on TH-cam videos but I made a point of coming here to say that your video makes me feel weirdly comfortable because I’ve always felt like I was kind of too “away” by listening to Radiohead B-Sides so much. Such a great video and so good to see that my favorite band has appreciation even for their alternative work
Thank you! I just like Radiohead, so I made a video about their b-sides, for they are surprisingly good. I mean most bands don't have such good b-sides
It really is a good track. I was really surprised by how interesting the song was when I first heard it, definitely one of my favourites from the Amnesiac B-sides (Fog is great too). That is why I even bothered to have that little singing part
That could actually be something. If I find enough things to say. Could be an hour long breakdown of every sound ever made, could be a 2 minute ramble about Cut A Hole
The only band that could fill two records with great songs that are not on any of their actual studio albums and tons of different versions of great songs some of which (Motion Picture Soundtrack acoustic) I even like better than the one they used.
Hah, thanks. And it actually worked, the video is not claimed. The sing-along technique has got to be my favourite. They probably will find me eventually though
My B-side picks for when I get tired of their main discography are usually the ones from the Bends era, and also often from In Rainbows Disk 2. Just absolutely love their B-sides from those eras.
Yeah, I could agree with that. I'm really fascinated by how much content OK Computer has: the album itself, the singles, the OKNOTOK cassette, that hacked minidisk, those weird webpages that seemed to never end. And they all were really good, too
Insanely good and funny video man. Too bad you skipped The Butcher and gagging order, some of my most listened to songs of all time. But other than that, amazing video!
Thank you! I guess I haven't given those songs much of a chance when I was making the video, especially the com lag ones, because I find them quite nice now. Maybe I could make some kind of a bonus video in the future, I'd even say... A b-side
I would even say, I butchered them I mean they're fine tracks, but they would make more sense on a Thom Yorke solo album. Even Radiohead kinda forgot about them only releasing them five years after they played Supercollider in the basement
I'm sorry about that. I didn't want this video to go for five years so I had to skip some songs. Worrywort is great, I talked about it in one of the comments here. I called it the original Thom Yorke beatbox. For These Are My Twisted Words I just couldn't find any... words to say.
Feel free to share your favourite Radiohead B-side and your thoughts on it here in the comments! If anyone is looking for an advise on which one to listen to, I'd recommend starting with In Rainbows disk 2. A Moon Shaped Pool singles are great, 'I Want None of This' is amazing. Amnesiac singles are cool
if Marge from Simpons was a die-hard Radiohead fan explaining to me why they're the greatest band on earth was your goal... Then it was achieved. I've already been sucked into that black hole for years so welcome
3 months later i have completely changed my mind on what i said lmao cuttooth is one of the best songs and also you're wrong about supercollider and these are my twisted words :)
Yeah, I guess I was a bit harsh on those two, one sounded more like a Thom Yorke solo stuff song, the other one I didn't quite get. Should've given more time to them really
Yeah, those are pretty cool. I didn't quite really expect people to be on the earlier Radiohead side, I guess it's just because I like the later singles so much. But really all the tracks by Radiohead are amazing. Constantly something new every time
Indeed. There used to be something on them in the video, but I kinda just dismissed them, so I cut it out. Now that I find more enjoyment in Supercollider, I could make a little catch up video with me talking about some of the songs I missed or didn't give enough time to.
Nice video man! really funny. I like your music a lot too. What is the name of the song at the end of this video? I couldnt find it on the links you provided. Im definetely an "ooh" enjoyer you see...

Pop Is Dead is an A side. Daily Mail is an A side. The Butcher and Supercollider is a double A side. Harry Patch is an A side essentially. Did you even mention These Are My Twisted Words? Well that's an A side. All those OKNOTOK and Kid Amnesiac videos are weird. I guess they're A sides for all intents and purposes. They're not B sides is my point. A B side is found on side B of a single, or at least is not the lead single(s) from a CD single. Weird video though so well done I guess.
Well, that's an old concept referring to actual sides on a disk, now with streaming it is used more for something like bonus songs, I guess. All these mentioned tracks have a feeling like they come from their respectable albums (say Harry Patch probably could be on A Moon Shaped Pool or Pop Is Dead on Pablo Honey). It's like they're b-sides to these albums, they're even marked that way in the public library. I was just talking about the songs that aren't from the studio albums, whether they're EPs, singles or even LPs

supercollider/the butcher didn't deserve this
Lmao I was dying when I saw that quick flash Greenwood Oil! 🤣
you have a comforting voice
We don't talk about the MTV Beach House incident? It's literally in every video essay about Radiohead.
Shh, don't let Thom know about this
OMFG it is
You should do this for their unreleased songs next, I think that would be an interesting video as well
That could actually be something. If I find enough things to say. Could be an hour long breakdown of every sound ever made, could be a 2 minute ramble about Cut A Hole
Wow cut a hole beast knower
I loved you just by watching this single vid! Keep going man!
Ah, thanks, mate. I'll sure do
Kid A and Amnesiac b sides are basically the same thing because they were both in the same sessions. So you could combine both sections
holy shit such a recent yet lovely vid on Radiohead!!! thanks for this it was insightful and hilarious
Oh, no problem, mate, these songs deserve something more than a vague mention on Reddit
The trickster is one of my favorite songs from. The bends era, along with killer cars. B sides are so cool, I definitely need to listen to more.
Absolutely, Radiohead is that kind of band, where even some weird demos hidden inside the greatest depths of the Pacific Ocean are worth listening to
I lost it when just this one here live from the basement
