Man this is just PERFECT!!!! When I got my first res band I kinda made up exercises and wasn't really effecient, but then I stumbled across this and it helped me so much. I'm currently preparing for my black belt exams and this is the perfect workout plan for all martial art praticioners. Thank you so much

Thank you for another great training and informative video. Is there any chance that you could share the programme in a bit more detail? Regarding an idea on sets, reps etc. if there is a need to follow the band training immediately with a set of exercises with no resistance. Possibly a suggestion of how to build up the training intensity from beginner to advanced?

Absolute genius workout exercises 🙏 I'm planning to return back to karate and some competition - got good technique, but the speed is just not there at all. Finally can train speed at home with bands, while enjoying maternity leave 💪

  • @BearsArms45

I just bought my first bands. Cheapies from walmsrt. I don’t trust that they could stretch that far without breaking. Like under both feet at shoulder width and held over your head.
Do they usually come in different lengths or what?
    Also how did are you
Securing it to the other side of your door?
I just moved to a new house and there’s practically nothing solid to attach it to.

This way of practicing is not correct. First, the rubber band only goes forward, but you don't maintain tension when it returns. In this way only the forward force is developed but not the return force. Secondly, if you use real elastic bands (made of matter), only the external muscles develop, but not the internal ones. This work must be combined with mental work (with images) therefore, the same exercise must be done, but this time the elastic is mental, not real.
