Sending 11 BPDU is not a bug. It is default behavior and it is correct. And BPDU guard will not shutdown the port. It will change the state in / Put in error-disabled .

I have an Query : I have an server connected to switch & on the server end bridging is enable . On the switch side Port-channel is configured with access port and globally Spanning port type edge default & Spanning port type edge BPD guard & filter are enabled. The Port on the switch end is going into down reason BPDUGRD Errdis. This is Expected behavior understood , but how we can make the switch port up without removing the bridging on the Server End. Any Best practice ???
