I think the best thing that could happen to DL2 is the devs go turtle mode, go underground and stop updating their game. -to work on adding all the cut content that was originally planned and bring back the game we were advertised, not the game we got.
I just wanna see a teaser trailer for DLC 2 at the very least even if DLC 2 is not ready yet and if they wanna take their time longer to make sure it’s good at release. Just please a teaser and I’ll be satisfied.

My guess is if early 2025 it could be February release just in time for the 3 Year Anniversary.
Considering Sony I think PS4 players like myself will be really restricted in what mods we’re going to be able to actually download, similar to how mods for Fallout 4 was handled.
That's why I stopped Fallout 4 back then. If it's the same for Dying Light 2 I promise myself I'll uninstall it and never play it again. I hated PlayStation for that
No because as long as the mods are part of the actual game they will be allowed to do it (basically as long as the stuff is in the original game like the helicopter is made out of parts of the real models so it is allowed)

Its not night and day diff. but still looks much better with the full rt effects on, u getting closer to that photo realistic feeling with RT on in this game.
Man , Techland is one of the studios that ppl jump on criticism train but in bottom of our heart the hope never dies cuz the love and care they showed for Dying Light 1 and how they released Dying Light 2 even after the whole 2020 chaos. I'm keeping my expectations moderate but if they cook a really good plot twist and story direction this gonna be a Banger . Like Horror Night Forest with zombies hunting , surviving and buggies whooah. And thank you ali for making the video you're the Real LEGEND ! GN and GL o7
One thing I'd REALLY like to see is a player owned base, maybe have some long n hard questline for it, lock it behind a new game++ or something, but it would be really cool to have an area you could customize while in the game xD
It has been dead to me ever since dl points released not because of the idea but because of the betrayal. I wasted so much time arguing everything from story lines, plot, character morality/faction morality and even unliked changes into favorable light but after it all, I was rewarded with "The real robbery is your wallet" event and a statement from Techland that DL points was an idea already approved before Tencent even bought them. A fucking masterpiece is the only way the dlc will save ANY care I had left and I know for a fact Techland can't do that.
Mods will actually go crazy. I won't be doing anything insane with it, probably just graphic mods. Anyways a Survival mode is gonna be my cup of tea for sure, especially now that we're outside the walls and Aiden said multiple times it's much harder then Vilador. We'll probably be getting new zombie variants as well with this or at least different models as Viladors zombies are special because of the toxic stuff they sprayed throughout the city which helped a few infected mutate, especially the Revenant. I'll be very disappointed and confused if they don't. But anyways I'm actually looking forward to this but I'm still keeping my guard up

As the biggest fan of survival and zombie games that's some really good news, also moders have a long history of fixing even the worst games so I bet this will do wonders for DL2 aswell
I made a fan concept called the Night Stalker where the Night Hunter seems to have a more versatile form of fighting the Night Stalker would be a better version of the Volatile you could play as, but because its not the Hunter instead of tendril pulling to travel it would used charged jumps, essentially another zombie that player could play as to keep things fresh

never played any of the Dying Light games but im keeping myself updated with all new news and I am really happy to see the game becoming great like the Ding Light 1. Dyoing Light 2 will never be better than Dying Light 1 but they can try to make it. Love both games, I watched full gameplay for both of them and Dying Light 1 got me litterally shaking in fear when I first watched. The moment when Kyle Crane parachuted and shot one on of Rais men, I heard the horrifying scream, I started shaking so much that I got hit by adrenaline. I was looking at screen and shouted: "RUUUN!! GET YOUR ASS UP AND RUN YOU FOOL" and then I saw the Infected rushing towards him and saw zombie biting him. I was just staring at the screen in horor.

Really hoping they add be the zombie PvP it was one of the main reasons I played dying light 1 so long, even after you get op and get everything there’s still fun and challenges to be had with it and PvP with/ against your boys is fun asf

The game needs a mod system. For weapons and armor. Not the same 4 mods they have now. More finishers, up the gore. Make it so the zombies don’t die until you destroy their heads. More weapons and throwables like trip wires. Fix the weird glitch where you get randomly stuck and can’t move.
Community mod support is gonna be a game changer im really hyped about mod Support!! It will give us more endgame content Besides jai missions/tower raids
I would love to see this game also as an Online multiplayer survival with a bit of shelter building. Just like GTA5 where we have the base game and also the online mode. Would be EPIC!
Personally, I hope that they will show us the teaser of the second DLC, as it is much more interesting than the raids on the towers. Although Techland itself could take something from the cut content and use it in terms of DLC, for example, the same Elysium, which is partially visible in the Bloody ties expansion (and Opera itself was planned in 2019 as part of the plot with GRE terminals) or the Limbo and District 4 areas, which were also cut. Although one Russian TH-camr "Каргас" turned out to be right that within 5 years the developers will return all the content from the first part to the game, as well as that the DLC will be with fields and cars
A survival gamemode might as well be THE THING that will bring me back to DL2, that and the improved mod support. Right now I feel like DL2 is a bit too ''Arcadey'' compared to even DL1, a survival mode could change that and I hope it does.

I am a die hard dying light 1 fan....i finished dl 1 main Campaign 8times(2times in normal mode,4times hard mode,2times nightmare mode) and also finished the following 6times....and my pc couldnt support dl 2.... I somehow saved some money,worked some jobs and finally able to buy a pc to play dying light 2.... And i really hope they show us the fate of kyle crane...so that i can die peacefully...ali bhai...make sure you update us

Its not even that much money lmao, considering you get a huge ass map, incredible details a million times better than the first game, the parkour is absolutely unbeatable and breathtaking, and a very cool combat system. And way way more
Techland usually does a massive sale every December, 20-30$ is definitely a price tag worth paying if you like the look of the game.

I have questions though. For multiplayer, how does mod support work. If I install certain mods and my friends join my game; do they have to have the mods installed as well or will they not see them. And if I were to join them? Do I need to install their mods or will I be able to see their mods already? And are mods only for single player?
