Thank you, thank you. Yes, of course, I have already purchased and mounted Tobii in my system, but with my eye distance of 60 cm to the screen, it was hard at the limit for Tobii and I always had many dropouts. However, I have tried Tobii with Digital Combat Simulator and Microsoft Flight Simulator, as Tobii is not compatible with iRacing or it is simply not supported. However, I must honestly say that I don't need Tobii with a 57-inch monitor and if I need more movement, then I just use my Varjo Aero VR glasses and that's it. But yes, I have tried Tobii and no, it does not work with my setup. Which is not to say that Tobii cannot function well, I do not want to say that. Best regards, Philipp

Thanks mate 😁 Right now I am totally happy with the 57“ panel and have no thoughts going back to triples! Maybe once when I build a second Simulator or more and probably going with 54“ Lg OLED because it‘s easier to setup. But this is my future Idea to bring SimRacing to other people in my Surroundings. Private, I will stay with my integrated 57“ because I love the Immersion I get without Bezels! 👌👍

Hello Ludovic, greetings back to France! It's great to hear you enjoy my video format. I also prefer it this way; it's different from how other streamers present their content, which somehow doesn't appeal to me as much. That's why I decided to do things differently when I started. Watching my videos, using my 57-inch Samsung Odyssey G9 as a windshield, gives me a sense of being in the race. Plus, you get a good view of the rest of my simulator and me. I'm very happy with this setup.
Regarding your question about triple, single, and VR setups: firstly, it's cool that you've tried them all, just like me, and ultimately settled on VR. I totally agree with you - VR offers unparalleled immersion. I often use VR for training sessions, as I own a Varjo Aero, but for races, I prefer the 57-inch screen because it's easier to film. Additionally, I can spend longer sessions on the screen compared to VR, where I start to feel a slight burning sensation in my eyes after an hour. Even with a state-of-the-art PC, it's still not possible in 2024 to max out all the graphics settings in iRacing in VR without experiencing some lag, which is a bit frustrating. It seems even with the upcoming NVIDIA RTX 5000 series, this won't be possible. It's just how the PC market is.
I moved away from triple screens because I couldn't get past the bezels; they always snapped me back to reality. Even with various bezel solutions like the Asus Bezel Kit, it didn't work for me. The bezel-less experience with the 57-inch Samsung monitor is a game-changer for me. It allows me to forget I'm in a simulator within minutes, as the screen acts like a windshield, enhancing my immersion. And of course, 4K is a different level compared to 1440p.

@@pgepplthank you philipp for your answer, I agree with you I have an rtx 4090 and an i9 12900k and I can't put all the graphics on ultra, I make two concessions, on the mirrors and I reduce the shadows to medium, after I took the meta quest 3 and I set the resolution to the maximum but I blocked the fps at 72hz as recommended but sometimes there is a little lag as you say it's frustrating... I currently have the 45" LG Ultra Wide OLED Ultra Gear, it's a good compromise, I recommend it but I'm thinking of upgrading to the G9 Odyssey 57" like you to gain wider vision. when I was on triple screen the black bands in the middle of the screens bothered me.. I alternate sessions on screen and in VR, I find it the best to do. keep offering us videos, your channel is cool! one more subscriber see you soon on the track 😉

Advantage is that you can keep connect Monitor and VR all the time and do not have to disconnect/connect one of the triples and doing NVidia Surround all the time! @@pgepplthe single 57 is a simplified approach and no bezels, I get that as far as reality. The lack of view on each side and you have to to alt left right to see out the windows was why I’ve never gone away from triples. It looks good though ?
