An artist like Pablo comes only once in a lifetime, said one reactor. I believe it is true. He has songs and a voice that takes us to the very depth of his heart. He is a rare gem that the Philippine music industry is so fortunate to have. He is the brilliant guy whose songs and leadership and vision have contributed so much to bringing SB19 and 1Z to where they are now. Truly amazing. I hope more and more casuals would come to know about him especially now that SB19 is being recognized more globally.
It got me again. 😭There's a reason I don't play this song as much as his other songs. It just makes me cry. 😭 It just hits you in the kokoro for real. 😭 sheep 🐏wolf🐺
Kanako was released months ago before TBWCW. Plus it takes time before a masterpiece pick up coz only a few has the mind of Pablo. Thanks to your reaction coz it surely would pave the way for people to comprehend his depth, artistry.
Pablo’s artistry is rare. He’s the hidden gem of this generation. Thank you for appreciating Pablo and SB19. Thank you for investing on Filipino artists! 🐑🐺
Well, he was awarded Artist of the Year by Wish Music Awards 2 days ago.. Congrats Pablo ! The first time I heard him sing it it did not only give me goosebumps. It made me cry as if it's telling us never to give up when we're down to the bottom that others go through such pain also.....
I love the "His voice cuts as a knife" yeah I know what that feels, it really is like stabbing you directly with a knife whenever he sings an emotional song, it'll really make you emotional
I’m crying again. I love Pablo’s voice it gives me chills every time he sing this song. He’s a good composer, lyricist and a performer. I’m proud being a hotdog and a A’tin.🫶
This is why I love watching reaction videos of real producers or professionals because they tend to dig deep on the song or the whole art itself in their perspective. I love listening to what they say. Thank you for doing this and I really enjoyed it. I do have same sentiments that this song and mv is so underrated. People need to hear Pablo more. His musicality, art and emotions…idk he really is a genius.😭
This is the song I cried so hard after hearing it for the 1st time. And every time I heard it, I can’t help but getting emotional;< Thank you for appreciating PABLO’s artistry means a lot. ❤
Louder! Thank you for always supporting our Mahalima and for investing in the P-pop community and the music industry in general. Sad truth that there are still only few people who can really appreciate real artists and their artistry and a lot of shallow-minded people invalidating their craft and skills just because of views/streams. But big thanks to A'tin na grabe ang dedication and support so we can continue to enjoy their masterpieces mapa as SB19 or solos. It's high time that our Pinuno, Pablo, is recognized and given the honor as Artist of the Year!
I love your insights here. The artistry exerted in the song is superb. I also agree that the video deserves more views and the song deserves more ears that listen through the heart. While I believe that there are many other factors at play regarding the views, there is one thing that I am certain of for now: only time will tell. Remember SB19's Nyebe? It was one of their beautifully done yet underrated ballads. But just last year, it became an OST of an award-winning MMFF film entry, Green Bones. Who would have thought that it will make bigger ripples this time, 2 or 3 years after its release?
I don't know, but I never get tired of this song and this is the kind of rare song where the more you listen to it, the more you find it beautiful than the first time you listened to it and so on..
Many people are questioning why he won the Artist of the Year award, and it saddens me that they can’t appreciate Pablo’s artistry. If only they took the time to listen to both of his albums, they would see just how talented he is. Every song he creates comes from the heart. They aren’t made to chase popularity -- they’re made to be heard.
@@imee8857 i definitely think that if someone is open enough, he/she can really appreciate the depth of this song. Besides, pablo's votes can be reversed if the 70% thinks otherwise. Let the bashers bash, they cannot put a good, artisitic, down to earth man.
This is one of Pablo's creation and we called it a masterpiece. The Boy Who Cried Wolf is something that made me sad and cry everytime I hear it but somehow it's healing...
That is true that he may not be earning a lot from the views of his MV here in YT. But this man, still managed to extend a helping hand to the victims of typhoon here in the Philippines through his artistry. Pablo made a short film as a prequel to his 2 albums which were shown in selected cinemas as to which all the proceeds were donated to all the typhoon victims. The man that you are, Pablo. ARTIST OF THE YEAR? Yes. Proud is an understatement, but the truth is, he is more than that recognition.
I'm not Music lover but when I found & heard SB19 songs it got me & fallen for it... Specially with the Soulful music of Pablo and his deep Lyric composition
There's so much successful and famous IDOLS in the world but there's only few (rare) IDOLS who have the TRUE/NEXT LEVEL ARTISTRY. Not to mention nearly 100% self-managed and self-produced whether its their group or solo careers. They could just also make popular/trending genre of music which are easy to listen to and could attract more listeners/fans, but they still chose to make music based on their personality, life experiences and what they truly feel in their journey as both IDOS and ARTISTS. Definitely the STANDARD OF PPOP and for me, also a WORLD POP GROUP STANDARD
Pablo's voice indeed cuts and is very powerful. I love his artistry and lyricism. He deserves his Artist of the year award. Thank you both for appreciating Pablo's music and talent.❤
This song had the lyric video released first before the official MV. I don't know if having a single video for it would have helped increase the number of views a bit. I do agree that it deserves so much more.
🐏🐺thanks for the RV, my absolute favourite from Alon and from Pablo! He is my ultimate bias and always here to support and wishing for his music to be heard by the world as the artistry is top notch. Thank you for appreciating Pablo’s music and aristry.
Pablo released the official lyric video of this first, I think that's where most of the traction came from. The mv was released later. But I agree, the song this good should have more views! This is an art.
Imho, Pablo writes songs to not necessarily be instant hits but rather, timeless. 30 yrs from now, this song will still be relevant and wouldn't be surprised if this song gets picked for an OST in the future.
🐑 The prejudice that haters with big audience engraved on people's mind against SB19 still a struggle for boys, glad that they are appreciated by people who really know music to the core. PABLO just won Artist of the Year from Wish Music Awards the other day, we are very proud of him! Thank you Josh and Lucas.
This is the first time that I saw Josh so emotional after listening to a song. and I can relate to it coz this was my reaction too. 🥹 Well, here I am for our Pinuno, the Wish Music Awards Artist of the Year 2025 🥰💙 Thank you as always Josh and Lucas 🤗
I have watched this videos only a couple of times. I always end up crying so I always reserve it for days I can take the emotion..Pablo has this thing about the way he sings that just has that effect emotionally... I'm always getting goosebumps and I can't figure out what it is..I have never had this kind of emotional reaction before towards any artist..just out of this world...😳🙏🏼
Pablo is the backbone of SB19. He's a fearless leader and a genius lyricist, and his artistry is impeccable. He won the Wish Bus Awards Artist of the Year and we're beyond proud of him getting the recognition he deserves.
@ We were in the VIP section during the awarding. When the announcement for Artist of the Year came, we couldn’t help but stand up and it felt like we were personally connected to them or even part of 1Z. Hahaha!!! Our cheers and screams were so loud that people seated in front of us (mostly staff, sponsors, and music label representatives) turned to see what was happening. Despite the setting, we couldn’t contain our happiness. It was such an overwhelming moment, full of pride and joy, like we were celebrating a victory that was ours too! ❤️🥹🤘🏼
It's frustrating to see that SB19's videos aren't getting the views they truly deserve, and their TikTok accounts also aren't gaining as many followers as they should. It's disappointing that so many talented Filipino artists remain underrated-it feels unfair given their skill and potential.
Yeah! I totally agree with you... It's so disappointing because they are the True music artists.. they don't release trash or nonsense music. Honestly, I stopped listening to Pinoy music in 2014 but when I learned about SB19 in 2021 I started to get interested and searched about them. At that time, I was listening to BTS, Ariana grande, Charlie Puth and manila grey 2023...I loved them...I can't stop myself from loving them even more..my music now is only Them...
Yes, I am also disappointed why true artistry is not being eaten by the majority of Filipinos. I haven't also been listening to OPM since 1990's bcoz only a few really get out of the norm and only SB19 made me listen to OPM again. I've been into western music then listened to some Korean music and other countries'music but not OPM until SB19 came. I thank them for bringing me back to OPM.
Because of competitions; Politics influenced that we have in the Philippines Music industry it's rare to find genius artists the powerful one conceal their rival with their money no matter how talented and good you are
Pablo is an amazing talented artist, thank you Josh and Lucas for sharing this masterpiece from Pablo and yes I’m agreeing with you, it’s so so hard to survive in this music industry, hope his band don’t give up 👍
I completely agree with you, your thoughts truly moved me and it made me emotional. I hope more people discover this beautiful song by Pablo and take the time to appreciate the other gems in his album.
People here in the Philippines are probably waiting for 10 to 20 yrs when this song is already a classic for them to truly appreciate it AND THEN make a revival of this song. Saddening to even think about it because this is such a great piece and they’re sleeping on it.
I really like the lyric video of this actually. For some reason, it hits me even harder. Hope you get the chance to watch it. Thank you for the reaction, gentlemen.
I think lets go back to listening again to this mV Pablo deserve to be viewed again. Tama sila million n dapat to. A'TIN lets go mag hear this music again. Npkaganda po nito ❤
I love to have seen you dumbfounded both with PABLO's artistry and musicality. He's so versatile! He's always a vulnerable storyteller. He moves the listeners and watchers like no other. He pulls the heartstrings with his special flair. But yeah, I can relate with your frustration regarding how underrated his MV when it comes to views and support. Nevertheless this classic ballad's longevity will be be enjoyed by future generations who appreciate this kind of art. PABLO himself is an ART. 🐺 Btw, I ugly cried again. This song resonates my personal experience. That's why I love PABLO. He advocates mental health in his music, too! ❤ Thanks a lot to your superb reaction.
Pablo is an excellent writer and this song is truly a masterpiece! I do get your point on the disconnect and how his popularity has been slow but I know in time he will get the recognition he deserves.
Thank you for reacting to TBWCW. You can also watch the lyric video, it was already a good one, maybe that's why the official MV has a few views. When his album was released, i thought i will be crying through Kumunoy being officially released but TBWCW is on the next level. This was literally my therapy during depression last year.
Really i cried so much while watching you GKD and listening to your POV...you said it well,im really sad about how our fellow filipinos doesn't give a chance or recognize a true singer or artist, its so disappointing to think that they really do well especially PABLO,but still they receive a lot of hate instead of loving them and supporting them by giving our country a filipino pride...i am hoping and praying to our GOD,pls give him what he truly deserve...thank you GKD for a good and relatable reaction on Pablos MV.
I can’t agree with you more! Pablo’s music should be heard by many around the globe. Too sad that Filipinos can’t appreciate this kind of music. Thank you for always appreciating the artistry of SB19 and its members. You truly are music geniuses❤️
Pablo released his double album as an independent artist, just as Radkidz 🫶🏻 no big music label to help promote it but i feel that his artistry is still resonating slowly but surely, i just hope people just stop being prejudice, they're missing out. Music producers and composers definitely acknowledge him, i could say. He actually just won as the Wish Artist of the year, the highest award category and he definitely deserves it. Just so happy that he made time for himself, his solo music, 'til next time, even it'll take longer. 😢
Listening to this song feels like you opened your chest, took out all the organs and sewed the chest shut. Yes, graphic I know, but it is. When you come across music and art like this one, there is that sense of feeling uncomfortable and it makes you think and FEEL. Kudos to Pablo, this is such a beautiful art.
The members are underrated and under appreciated by Philippines. That’s why I always say, if home won’t support you, find another home. The world is big. They need to go somewhere else where their talent would be recognized and appreciated, and where they can still represent OPM. 🐑 🐺
Nah home is the Philippines . If you listen, their goal is to spread Filipino music and culture. They can be home and still find world stardom and recognition
He recently released a song he wrote when he was 14yo, it was dug up by fans from his old Soundcloud account, he decided to add it to his EP due to popular demand. The song’s called “Drowning in the Water”.
This song will be globally recognized someday.
Pablo, "the sacrificial lamb" gave so much of himself for the group.

Also i think Pablo is very experimental. He released his solo stuff without the help of any label like sony or warner music.
That move scared the shit out of me, to be honest.
I don't know, but I never get tired of this song and this is the kind of rare song where the more you listen to it, the more you find it beautiful than the first time you listened to it and so on..

Bashers lang yun, no matter how you explain wala sakanila. haters lang talaga

I think a lot more people appreciate Pablo than doubt/hate him. It's just that the haters and toxic OT1s are louder.

Yep Pablo's songs , especially those that showed hi vulnerable side is, are mostly Cathartic (Wala, kumunoy, Ilaw...)

This song is a Masterpiece
That’s why he deserved being voted as artist of the year,♥️

Very well said. I really hope A’tin will not only support them as a group but as individuals as well.
Pablo’s double album for me is one of the best album and The Boy Who Cried Wolf is my favorite. Thank you for recognizing it.
Mediocre minds wouldn't understand Pablo's brilliance, thus the views are not that many.
He always finds the words that expresses the feelings of his audience while expressing also his own soul
Pablo is soooooo goood❤❤❤❤
Listening to this song feels like you opened your chest, took out all the organs and sewed the chest shut. Yes, graphic I know, but it is. When you come across music and art like this one, there is that sense of feeling uncomfortable and it makes you think and FEEL. Kudos to Pablo, this is such a beautiful art.
Thank you for appreciating Pablo. To be honest i appreciate SB19 more because of your insightful reaction of their videos.
