A hack and a suggestion. Buy the Aquaphor lip balm with SPF. Then you don’t need to spend extra money buying a sunscreen for your under eyes and they are typically very expensive! Any chance you could film this again, but this time do one eye with Aquaphor and the other without? Prep the no Aquaphor side as you normally would, the other eye with the Aquaphor and then apply the exact same makeup products using the same tools to both eyes. I’m very curious to see a side by side comparison and also curious about the wear time of each. Thank you, ❤ from Shannon in Canada 🇨🇦
@@marie.theartist I meant a makeup product that imitates how this looks 😋 Aquaphor is the OPPOSITE of “greasy”/oily! That’s why even every hospital uses it instead of products that are oily and too thin, not just us Derms and Estheticians 😁 The issue is it’s SUCH a thick, moisturizing barrier cream that wearing it for a couple kinds of people (like myself) Milia can form from the oils our skin produces itself because the skin can’t “breathe” under the barrier, so all the oil and sebum, etc. clog pores 😢
@@LivingDeadBabyDoll Hear me out. I have super sensitive and oily skin, aquaphor clogs my under eye too. The only moisturizer I use is vanicream light lotion. I put that under my eyes before makeup in two layers. I put it all over, let it sink into my skin, then apply it again same way. This stuff is made out of lanolin, so it works great for hydrating skin and locking in moisture (which is why it's used for diaper rash), but putting it on the face will give you breakouts. Especially if you are prone to clogged pores.
@patriciaflake815 this is Google response. Milia are tiny cysts that develop due to harmless buildups of keratin under the skin. They are common on the face and around and under the eyes. Milia are not pimples, and attempting to pop them can cause further inflammation and scarring. The pores need to clear out the built up keratin for the milia to go away.
This has been long before Scott. The undereye gets so dry and the hack is to heavily moisturize it..... You can put any kind of baby oil or mineral oil and let it sit under your eyes while you do your hair or brows etc then gently wipe off excess .
