That was an amazing update on gold and actually an amazing move in the metal this past week. Obviously I am tracking the miners, which do not appear to be participating strongly just yet, and I was criticized today with the comment "don't expect bearishness to reverse overnight". Ok, that may or not be true. Anyway, I always greatly enjoy your show and thank you for posting. 👍👍👍
Great comment! I think it’s gonna be surprising the way the minors actually catch fire. Once it really sinks in that the higher metals prices are leverage to the earnings, especially the juniors, I believe these stocks will take off.

Thank you for the great analysis! I wonder whether GDX will ever really start making a moving, and especially silver and the junior silver miners. Very frustrating to see Gold at $2200 and GDX is not even $30 with silver and junior silver miners left for dead. Do you foresee gold and silver miners, especially the junior gold and silver miners ever starting a big run or are miners mostly just dead money, especially the junior ones? I would have thought with gold at $2200 junior gold miners would be ripping higher but not so... I recall now you saying months back you buying many gold and silver miners so i assume you think eventually the time will come when gold and silver miners will start to finally make big moves.
Yes, investors haven’t figured it out yet that the higher metals prices are going to help earnings in a leveraged way. Obviously they have not so far with only some minor upside moves. And it really wouldn’t surprise me if we saw gold have a minor correction, and these stocks pulled back again before really taking off in the next gold surge.
Is it possible that this upcoming correction will be small? What if this isn't as bad as we think?
It could be big or small. I have shown projections in the show.
I am long GDX, GLD. I already started to lock in some gains off the 2025 calls in case it is a false breakout - the off chance. I shorted the shit out of NVDA. I am hedged with gold calls so I can short the shit out of NVDA. Hit the high of day. I did swing the full position, BECAUSE I AM LOCO.
I am also still holding QCOM so if the AI craze fades I will make more short NVDA. I am also long HPE from the bottom area of the sideways range and it is looking like it wants to break out finally. Usually I sell at the top of the range but that last earnings call had me convinced it is finally time.
How do you find stocks like HPE in sideways range?

Looks like the weekly chart is going to barely close above its open, so still a green week, but not by much. Still a little over 2 hours until futures close, and currently bouncing, so I could see it finishing around the 24 hour SMA. Have to keep in mind too that June contracts are trading about 65 points above March, so there's probably going to be a small gap up on the SPY here soon. Still not enough data nor confirmation yet to determine the bull run is finished. For me, proceed with caution, trade the market as it is now. When it turns it'll be obvious. Instead of stair-steps up, we'll probably see some big red days, maybe even stepping down. I'd rather be a touch late shorting than shorting too early and get hammered by another wave up.

Gold finally broke out of the sideways range. I did already have LEAPS on calls for 2026.... but I jammed 2025s when my alert went off. GLD to the moon!

a few weeks ago you were bullish on gold with one of the targets at $2300 then the week after you turn Bearish saying it would go to 1950 you are very inconsistent in your gold calls flip-flopping back-and-forth

@@issenvan1050 agreed those would be helpful. I find slim knowledgeable and entertaining and a lot more transparent/accurate then RonWalker out there with all his 9 count (ABCD) trends the he changes…Ron that is. But props to both of them for good content over the years.
