  • Part 2 of the Fort Flagler excursion with the Sportyak 245. This video will highlight the crabbing at Fort Flagler and how the Sportyak perform with the task. Fort Flagler is a great park for both clamming and crabbing and I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a spot to have a day trip out with friends and family that's relatively close by Seattle. Let me know if you have any questions or comments below. Thanks for watching!

You need to run star tron in your gas. Usa ethanol free fuel only in outboards. Run every tank with a bit of sea foam in it as well since it will be a low use motor. Also use the top quality amsoil motor oil for your oil will also keep things better longer.
Last thing is keep your crabs on ice or in water on the way home. Alos keep your clams in water and use almond flour or corn flour to help them purge better for a day or two depending on the clams.

Hey! Do you know how deep you were or how far off the beach you were?

No depth finder unfortunately but should be right off the beach, don't need to go out far at all.
