I just learned that my family came to central anatolia from kars and with the fenotype we have i thought that we probably have armenian ancestry so i immediately came here to be able to read the alphabet at least lol

Hello!! Could you please make a video where you write freely some longer text, so that we can see how the handwritting looks like and how to write fast and normally, like when taking notes during a lecture :) Thank you!
Hi thanks for the great feedback! I thought the same while doing the video. But since the video is already rather long I will do that soon in a separate video!
In my opinion the handwriting style looks awful. I've seen it before, and honestly i'd like to write these letters the way the are portrayed through the text version of the alphabet. But i don't see a huge difference necessarily
Subscribed, you are teaching Russian which I’m trying to learn and Armenian which would be useful for looking back at as I don’t communicate in Armenian much, you’re wonderful, carry on! ♥️♥️♥️
Yes I agree! People have said that my mother tongue Hungarian was difficult to master, but this is a totally alien and wonderfully beautiful language to me!
Hey there! Really great job well done! I just think you should have used a notebook with lines since it's very important where to place the letter as you showed with the letter "L". Just a kind notice :)
I have learned well, the alphabet of Italian, German, French, Spanish, Irish, Swedish, Finnish, Polish, Russian, Greek, Hungarian, Hebrew, Swahili, and I am learning Armenian, Georgian, Hindi, Aramaic, Thai, Tibetan, Japanese, Korean, and Mandarin.
Some machine letters looks totally different from the handwriting letters. Any tips so I can recognize them? Also, how do I tell the difference between [u] and [vo]+[L] when they're in word?
Do people use these forms of the letters for every day writing? Is this cursive in that the letters connect to one another? Do people write the "printed" forms of the letters? Or is it like in English where "a" exist in print but most people write "ɑ" instead?

PS. Dobrze rozumiem, że jesteś pół-polką, pół-ormianką?
How much do you know about ancient Armenian languages? I have some bronze dishes with Armenian writings and I would love to know what they say!!! I had some tell me on an Armenian Facebook site that one is from an Armenian monastery and dated in the 1700s!
My best friend is full blooded Armenian there is nothing more exciting to me than being able to communicate with him and his family in his language. I don't understand why your letters are different than the example. He is from Yerevan. Would he understand the letters you are writing over the examples.
Why do so many of the letters that are different sound the same? Like what is the difference between "Տ" and "Թ"? Also between "Ճ" and "Ջ"? I'm sorry I've never tried to study Armenian before and I'm so confused haha
To a non Armenian, they sound same. To my Armenian ears, they sound very different! The letters you mentioned are quite different. Pronouncing it the wrong way will make it a totally different word.
Its very diferent sounds the Տ is russin T and Թ-english T for example. The letter "Ճ" is unique and this letter is only in armenian and caucasian languages.

Now I'm travelling in Armenia where the most adorable country I've ever been!
So I decided to learn the alphabet at least. Thank you for this video!

Yeah true you are right some of the written cursive letters look very different.
