Conquering Arkaoola's "Extreme" track - The Echo Camp Backtrack

This week we journey into the stunning Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary & tackle the Extreme Echo Camp Backtrack
Nestled in the untamed northern expanses of the Flinders Ranges, South Australia, Arkaroola beckons with its awe-inspiring mountainous terrain, adorned with jagged peaks and rugged ravines.
With an abundance of walking trails and 4WD tracks sprawling across the property, Arkaroola offers endless opportunities to explore its beauty. But today, we are taking on the ultimate challenge - The Echo Camp Back track, labeled by the sanctuary as "Extreme." We are by no means skilled 4wders so this track with its steep climbs and even steeper descents, some even surpassing a 40° angle, pushes us to our limits.
