I used to get extremely red like that when I did my skincare cause I was stripping my skin by overdoing it and irritating it. Now that I’m double cleansing with a cleansing balm and using more gentle products that are barrier friendly that doesn’t happen anymore :)
Lol, so funny! I always "double cleansed" before it was a "thing" but for me this was eye makeup remover and washing with two regular cleansers. I always said that, if nothing else, go to bed at night with a clean face and a nourishing moisturizer.
Love these videos! On another notes, I always get a little surprised that the celebrities that do these videos don’t know about or do the traditional double cleanse method to get their makeup off.
It would be amazing if Kathryn could come on the channel with you two to do a whole routine. Swap out the products and educate her on why you would change it. She's so beautiful and I feel like she's doing herself a disservice.
Love your guys makeup in this one - fresh and pretty. In more recent ones it looks a tiny bit heavy. I love this even more. Either way love the content!
When I worked at a Dermatologist office, we sold Cortibalm. It was recommended for the Accutane patients only! Had a horrible “taste” on the lips too😩😂
Speaking of 'fixing" a makeup artist's work... I'm going to be part of a wedding party next year and we're having someone do our makeup. I have extremely oily skin and I sweat very easily. I always make sure to use very long lasting water resistant makeup and a significant amount of powder. How do I go about telling the makeup artist on that day about my skin concerns when he/she most likely don't carry around a bunch of options in their makeup bag. Do I offer up my own makeup for them to use on me? Or what? I need my makeup to last ALL night and not rub off easily if I have to blot oil or sweat off my face. My concern is that the makeup artist only cares about how it looks and not about the texture and formulation for everyone's individual needs.
You, or whoever booked the makeup artist, can send an email voicing your concerns so they an idea of what to expect before arrival. It can be as simple as "a member of my party has very oily skin and would like to know what products you'll be using. She can also provide her own that she knows works well for her..." On the day you're getting ready, remember to bring your own products for reference (or possibly for use) and have the artist walk through the process before letting them touch your face. As long as you voice your concerns kindly and clearly, most professional makeup artists will do what they can to make you happy at the end of the day!
Hi Kat! I think in this situation communication is KEY, if you approach it in this way and tell them your skin type concerns then there shouldn’t be any hard feelings. If you are worried about them bit carrying what you prefer in their kit then I definitely suggest you bring your favorites to have on hand just in case. I’m sure it will end up being great! ❤
You guys need to react brazilian makeup like Bruna Tavares makeup, as we have diferent weather around the country the technology need to be really adaptable. Love you my favorite double ❤
Yeah Susan has addressed this in the past comments a few times. They’re going back to the old way of editing. But since a few videos were pre-filmed and edited, the channel is still going to have this style of editing for a bit
Omg noooo cortisone on the lips I hope she’s not using it often! I got crazy thinning skin from using a cortisone cream via my dermatologist for 4 months straight and didn’t know I needed to take a break and worse didn’t know I shouldn’t put it around the eyes. HUGE MISTAKE
I am genuinely appalled at this girl revealing she "fixes" her makeup after her makeup artist does it. Not only is it just an insult (and imo unprofessional), but if she ends up looking bad on screen, guess who gets blamed...hint - not the actress. -.- That's pretty messed up.

Definitely voice your concerns and ask if they can use your products if you're not comfortable with theirs. Most artists are accommodating.
