@@mattb6646 underneath the PSU is where that figurine plate is mounted. Maybe for rigidity purposes they didn’t make a cut out at the bottom of the PSU chamber. That’s my guess anyway.
@@mattb6646 I took another peek at the case and it makes more sense that they did not make a cut out so you can choose desired vertical placement of the side intake fan that is underneath the power supply chamber. But even if they did make a cut out, You would have to be mindful of cable management as to not interfere with the fan blades not only to avoid damage but for aesthetic purposes as well. I would only route the front IO cables through that bottom cut out just to slide them back behind the motherboard. That should free up a few more millimeters to accommodate a longer PSU.
There should be wire routing holes out the bottom of the psu slot. Unless theres some reason they cant

get Asus tuf 1000w or 1200w with 150mm length is a space saver.
