I never expected to love jet vac when I initially got him. However, he quickly became one of my favorites to play. He feels so much more tactical than a lot of the skylanders i'm used to playing.it's not for everyone but it's definitely for me. jet vac definitely gives the top down shooter vibe in a way that I like.
Andres Jet Vac is literally ONE OF THE BEST characters in Swap Force! I THOUGHT YOU WERE GONNA TALK ABOUT HOW OP THE CORKSCREW LOOP TECH IS because not many people know yet But yeah otherwise this was a nice video as always, Bird up segments were very good.
Love your content, people seem to either like or hate Jet Vac, I always really liked him, I guess his playstyle can be a little boring to some, but I find it fun and unique.
This video is awesome. As a matter of fact, Jet-Vac is also one of my favourite skylanders, specifically he is my favourite air skylander (the original one). Legit the only reason why I can stomach Shellmont Shores and Love Sky Fortress in Imaginators is because Jet-Vac plays a prominent role in these levels and he is easily my favourite character in academy.
I don't think Jet Vac is an underdog. He's relatively very popular it's just JV's gameplay being ok. Underdogs would be those who are just severely underrated and not the popular underrated names like Sunburn
I'M LIKE THE NUMBER 1 JET VAC FAN HOW DID I NOT KNOW THIS VIDEO WAS UP... (also i am really envious of your eagle plushies. where did you get them. except the little among us shaped looking one cus i have that one already)
gonna just pop in and say, to be perfectly honest even story wise Jet-Vac is either underwhelming or downright awful, his lore is hella inconsistent for no reason as it seems the writers never really knew how to utilize his character correctly, for instance his bio mentions he's quite young for a Sky Baron (and judging by the other bios were Spyro is also mentioned as young we can assume he's supposed to be young still) however in most of hic comic appearances and even in Imaginators (due to Academy) he's shown as an older veteran, where again it sort of contradicts his lore cause spoiler, his lore doesn't even confirm we actually helped the other Sky Barons fly away, if his lore is taken at face value Jet-Vac on his own at that time might have the same amount of battle prowess as Slam Bam and Camo initially had which is none since they weren't fighters until Eon took them under his wing. It all also culiminated with the release of Academy where for some reason even as one of the main characters it appeared as if te writers themselves made him a scapegoat of the show, for instance with the joke about him laying eggs especially considering the episode where he actually says he keeps them as a reminder of his failures which is some really self hurting behavior and also adding to that fact his daddy issues which is canon in Academy btw and something only Academy added to his lore, on another hand he's also pretty mch shown to be really really bad at his job especially in the episode introducing Cy, keeping in mind he's a Skylanders teacher he should've already known the lesson King Pen and Eon tried to teach the others, I can understand Pop Fizz not knowing about it since he's Pop Fizz and could've forgot but Jet-Vac prides himself with his work, he's proud to be a teacher and yet he couldn't teach such a substantial lesson in the entire history of Skylanders (on top of that the writers also seemingly gave him OCD for the unnies I guess) all in all, I don't really think "underdog" is the correct term here cause this implies Jet-Vac had hardships and had to work really hard o still be relevant but with the amount of artificial push for his character to be popular in the franchise (you said yourself not many people like him that much, the same was true back in the day), ever since his appearance in Giants he was pushed to be the "poster character" of the Air Element and it honestly isn't entirely deserved in my opinion, especially with characters like Lightning Rod or Whirlwind existing who while not perfect gameplay wise are characters more set in stone and easier to write about, and this might've been the reason why so many writers struggled to show his character correctly or at least show it in a good light (check the Full Blast comic for further details), but I do agree he's been mistreated all the same, artificiaqlly pushed to popularity only to have pretty much each of his appearance be lackluster and not as great as the other Skylanders, by all accounts he should be one of the greatest and most popular Skylanders out there, literally set up to be constantly winning, yet due to this many blunders in how he's designed and how his moveset looks and how his story looks he just winds up becoming a bit meh, he's the "Top Dog" who still lost despite everyone betting on him
I've got a feeling that reason why he is written as a veteran fighter even though his bio portrays him as a young fighter is Activision/TFB/VV wanting him to be Gill Grunt of the air element.
Can somebody please explain to me why there two power paths with skylanders when you should be able to use all abilities with that character when you buy them.
bird up enjoying andres calling him jet vac is actually...really cute

Yay
He’s OP if you actually learn how to use him properly and also I just like him in general
Jet Vac has always been disappointing to me :(
