In the Gospel, we read that, “Jesus knew that the hour had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. He had always loved those in the world who were his own, and he loved them to the very end.” Do we have the capacity to love our loved ones, not to speak of strangers to the very end? What does it mean to put love above all else?
