congrats mike you got my second dream corvette the Orange C7 ZR1 but my main dream corvette is a Corvette C8 Z06 Rapid Blue
In regards to performance it’s in the sports car class and is about top 20 for that class which is not bad, but it is way off the pace of the Itali GTO.
got 2 add..ive had my 19z06 now 4 aprox..1.5 years..love it..its a manuel..same color as yours...with the expossed carbon fiber package...but its all stok..minus changged out x-pipe- ..n small other mods..no tune..i had one put on my 18 gr, sport with the automatic transm..ruinned the high end on the car..no more tunes!!!

Very nice car! I myself just bought a C7 ZR1 two weeks ago after wanting one for a while. Mine is shadow gray and also A8 3ZR ZTK. Mine was a one-owner, clean Carfax 3145 mile car and is in beautiful condition! No issues of any kind and no mods whatsoever. Just a bone stock car. I was also disappointed with the performance of the C8 Z06 (specifically the torque) but was on the list and bought a 2024 when my allocation came up. My C8 Z06 now has 587 miles on it and I will probably be selling at the six month point because I prefer the ZR1. I also have a 60th Anniversary Edition C6 Z06 that satisfies my manual need when I want it. I am still #2 on the list for a C8 ZR1 at my dealer and will get it if I get an allocation, but the C7 ZR1 will be a long term hold (probably forever car) for me for exactly the reasons you stated. Congratulations on your purchase!

I feel like that is the same car my local Ford dealer here in Lubbock had I was not able to make a deal on it.
The whole front half of car is clear bra wrapped. That car has similar mileage and same Toyo tires.
If it is the same car, it was built by AMP Performance but betime it reached the Ford dealership someone swapped out the Cordes airbox with GM Performance airbox and wrecked havoc on the mass air sensor and they had it retuned.

That's tough. They're both rlly nice shades of orange in their own ways. Trx is lighter but has no pearl. The zr1 is darker but has pearl

If you look at the screen on the right, engine sound management setting allows you to put exhaust in any mode while keeping the tour suspension settings and vice versa

You made the right choice! A C7 ZR1 is far cooler than a c8 Z06. It's the last of the front engine Corvettes and really special being a 1 year only car. It will only appreciate in value and will be a legend for ever. I didn't have the budget you had to play with, but I made a similar decision with Corvettes. I was trying to decide between a C4 ZR-1 and a C5 Z06. I ended up going with the more special and unique C4 ZR-1 and several years later I couldn't be happier. The ZR-1 has a unique sound with the DOHC v8 and it just feels special every time I drive it. You know you most likely aren't going to see another one on the road. I look forward to your C7 ZR1 content!

😮 you're trying to ignore the elephant in the Room it's wayyyyy too loud it's a beautiful Orange but unless you're planning on taking a trip to the moon you have to tinker with the exhaust
This car has pulley, more boost, etc. Can't have cats or you'll burn them up with this setup. If I put stock exhaust I'd have to put the whole car and tune to stock which I don't want to do lol.

I honeslty had the same feeling about that spoiler when i first saw it but then i saw it in person and it started to grow on me. Now I love it lol. Goes with the craziness of the car. Kind of like a Viper ACR.
