I just want to say, my 9th Grade AP Human Geography teacher used this for teaching us these concepts. My whole class laughed when we saw the thumbnail, and I didn’t know what to expect, but this is really well made. You made a very good game with a horrible community into a learning too into a really well made teaching resource. Keep up the amazing work!
Movement- How goods people and ideas get around the world Region- an area with similar characteristics that is different from other areas H.E.I.- how humans interact with their environment Location- Absolute: exact location Relative: A location in relation to someone or something Place- a location with different characteristics (Human or Physical) that is different from another location
i dont really play fortnite but heres a tip xd, -hand eye coordination practice -timing on when to shoot -low sensitivity or medium sensitivity -quicker reaction practice (When you see a player and quickly eliminate them then return crosshair to center)
Ok here are some tips, run and don’t walk. Don’t keep your pickaxe out when you’re not using it, keep a gun out. And finally, organize your inventory however you like it (most people do consumables on the right, examples: shield potions, bandages, etc)
At 2:55 I thought he was gonna say, "Even if you're in a big desert and it's really, really hot outside, it still doesn't make sense to wear a Speedo. Because it never makes sense to wear a Speedo." Hahaha. But he played it straight.

Wow, this video brilliantly combines my love for geography and Fortnite! It's impressive how the game's landscapes mirror real-world locations, making learning fun and engaging. Kudos to the creator for this unique and educational content!
My social studies teacher said she wanted to show us a video of 5 themes of geography fortnite edition, but then it said video restricted, so she said watch it at home. She also said it was made by Mr. M.
Greetings and Salutations. My 4th grade team will be using this video as an introduction. If you would ever want to collaborate or update this video please send me a DM.
*whew* all right what's up it's Mr. Mccleskey so last week I was asked a question about a student when I was teaching in summer school, What do I do outside of school and the answer and the only answer that I had was I play Fortnite. So today's video is definitely gonna deal in some form or some fashion with Fortnite so let's get to it. Title Text here Social Studies Lesson The Five Themes of Geography Fortnite Edition alright so today we are going to be talking about the five themes of geography *5 themes of Geography* the five themes of geography are Movement region Human-Environment Interaction HEI Location Place and if you look at that what does it spell? Mr. Help So let's jump right into it let's start with number 1 the first one is movement. Movement is how good, people and ideas get around the world. Now think about this when you start a Fortnite game and you are on that island waiting to go and then you go from that island into the map that is movement, that is you moving or kind of like immigrating to this map to play. It wouldn't necessarily be kind of just running around and moving your character. The video you're watching, how this video gets spread around the internet, that is movement. Fact that you're playing it on a console of some type or even a PC, those things were made somewhere else in those parts and then the product had to be shipped to you. They put it on a big ship and they bring it to the United States or Europe or Africa or wherever. That would be movement. The second one is the region. A region is an area with similar characteristics that make it different from other areas. When you look at a Fortnite map, you can see that there is a desert region, there is a mountainous region and in the center, you have like a kind of hilly wooded region. Those are all different regions because they all have different characteristics that make it similar to that area, but different from the others. The third is the Human-Environment Interaction. Human-Environment Interaction is basically how humans interact with the environment. In Fortnite, its where you are nocking down that tree to get the wood. That's what we would do in real life. We would knock down trees to get wood, to build houses. and again imagine you just keep building and building and builing and building in Fortnite, and build your stairway to heaven, and then, of course, my luck is... you fall off. In the real world, human-environment interaction can even be the clothes that you wear, if it's hot outside you wear shorts and a t-shirt, if it's cold outside you put a big jacket on. I mean if it's freezing cold outside it does not make sense for you to be wearing a bathing suit or a speedo or something like that. And if it's really hot and you're in the middle of a desert, it doesn't make sense to be wearing a gigantic you know winter jacket. Alright, number 4 is location. Now location is where something is. If you're asking to find something or you want to know where you're going, location is what you are asking, now there are two types, there is absolute and there is relative, now absolute is an exact location. It could be an address it can be latitude and longitude, now is Fortnite and absolute location might be just the town name kind of like if you're going to like Haunted Hills or Loot Lake or Retail Row, anything like that would be kind of in this point an exact location, if someone's put a waypoint on the map saying I want you to go there, that is also an exact location. That would be the equivalent of today saying like GPS location on your phone or anything like that. The second of the two is relative location, now the relative location is a little bit different. relative location is a location in relationship to something. Most of the time it is a location in relationship to you. When you are playing Fornite, and you see an enemy, and you say over there that is a relative location, that character is over there from you. It's easy to understand, I can not map over there I can't do anything because it's not in relation to me, it's in relation to your character. Now relative location is probably the location we use most on a daily basis. So, when you hear over there, next to this, next to that, behind you those are all relative locations. When you are using a GPS and you hear your GPS say, in 400 feet, that 400 feet is in relationship to you. You jsut don't hear GPSes say, "Turn over there because that would be crazy. *Turn now* Ok *Goes off the side of a cliff* *Recalculating* That wouldn't be good And number 5 last one, is place. A place is a location with physical or human characteristics that makes it different than another location. When we think of Retail Row, it kind of looks like a little shopping strip mall area. That place is different that Loot Lake, it is completely different, doesn't look the same, doesn't have the same physical characteristics, you know loot lake has a huge lake, it does not have as many stores, the human characteristics are different. *Physical = Lakes, Mountains, Trees* *Human = buildings, roads, bridges, culture* and that is what makes it a place. And that's it, that is all the five themes of geography, Movement, Region, Human-Environment Interaction, Location, and Place. If you liked this video please give it a thumbs up, smash it if you think that you can beat me in Fortnite, if you are not subscribed, please subscribe below, and leave a comment, and give me some pointers to make me a better Fortnite playing. But, other than that I will see you guys in the next video.
Great job Mr. M. We are homeschoolers learning about the 5 Themes (and we LOVE Fortnite). Your video did a great job engaging and explaining. I bet your students love your energy. Thanks for the video!

The Five Themes of Geography

alright so today we are going to be talking about the five themes of geography
*5 themes of Geography*
the five themes of geography are
Movement
