    Where did you order the gas can in the hardware for it

    Thanks for this video and link to buy, and made in Canada I love it, I just got my first Polaris and I still have linq accessories and I’m super pumped to use these brackets for my Polaris, I think the ski-Doo linq system works very slick. It will be a great add for the sled.

    The only issue I have run into with the SSM brackets is the hardware they supply to attach the Linq brackets....They stick up ABOVE the linq brackets and when you attach certain items (in my case, the Trail Breaker rack) hits the hardware. Looking into different hardware, probably with some Loctite instead of the locking washer.

    Did you have any wear and tear to the top of the tunnel? I've heard some guys with the polaris bags having that issue. Those brackets look like they raise everything a little off of it.

    Just curious why would you use the washers on the linq brackets versus the nuts to hold down the adapter? They only gave enough for one or the other

    • @krazykanucksperformance2242
      @krazykanucksperformance2242  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Kevin, The nuts to hold the "T" bolts have a Nyloc washer so no need to use lock washers there as that's the purpose of the Nyloc so the lock washers go on the Allen bolt to hold the LinQ bracket down. Hope that helps.

    Do you know if the SSM linq adapters fit on a polaris 121" snowmobile such as the indy you have sitting in the background, with the linq fuel caddy?

    Hi guys. Just wondering if this Linq bracket Polaris adapter system is also designed for the AXYS chassis? I have a 2020 800 Indy XC 137. Not sure if Polaris changed the tunnel width dimension between the AXYS and new Matryx chassis. Would love this for a fuel caddy for those long rides here in northwestern Ontario.

      The one thing Polaris has always lacked is useful accessories. We're lucky we have Ski-doo to turn too with products like this for adaptation.

      I believe that is a loaded question lol depends where you do the majority of your riding! The 129 is nicer in tight trails forsure, but on the Sunday when it’s crazy bumpy heading back to the trucks the 137 shines that’s forsure !

    Looking at 2021 Polaris Indy 850 XCR but I’m wondering if I should look at buying a maytrx vr1 850 instead. If you’ve had ride time on either can you give me your thoughts on which one I should buy. I would consider myself an average rider that goes about 40-50 mph. Any input is appreciated. Thank you!

    • @krazykanucksperformance2242
      @krazykanucksperformance2242  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Jerry, first off thanks for watching our channel and I can definitely help you out ! I could sit for hours and tel you about them .... but I’ll give your a quickie lol, so to start off I have rode both sleds ! Both are amazing ! The Axys sleds are amazing handling sleds the Xcr is primarily for hard trail riding, ditches, some jumps and such ! Your getting all large body Velocity’s on the XCR. Also the ride compliance on the Xcr is not going to be favourable for the average rider! You really have to push the sled to it’s potential to maximize from the higher performance components otherwise you would be fine on a XC 129 or 137 . Now to the Matryx !!!!! I rode it last year with other fellow Polaris Ambassadors..... within 5 minutes we were all just beyond amazed at how could a snowmobile ride, handle and perform in such a manor. The Matryx is designed for the rider ! Seating position, ergonomics, aesthetics and so much more! It is narrower in-between your knees so your body movements make the sled react more precise . I could sit here and tell you for hours in depth differences but as an overall the Matryx has industry leading tech, ride quality and overall appearance ! It was designed with the rider at the forefront and it truly shows ! If you can get your hands on a Matryx that is your best options forsure ! But if you can’t due to shortage well the Indy XCR is the next best thing on the snow, so either way you will end up with a large smile on your face . Cheers and good luck with your search !

    Great content Gents! Can you do a video that shows the South Simcoe LinQ adapter BRP Fuel Caddy and the Lock and Ride Flex tall bag on the 137 Matryx you have?

    • @krazykanucksperformance2242
      @krazykanucksperformance2242  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Marcus, thanks for the comment. We had borrowed the bags from the dealer so unfortunately we don't have them anymore to try that. We don't really recommend doing it that way though since the Lock & Ride Flex bag would be closest to the seat as that is where the front bag brackets go into and then the LinQ fuel caddy would be at the end of the tunnel and putting a decent amount of weight at the back there which isn't great.

    • @marcusluck8491
      @marcusluck8491 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@krazykanucksperformance2242 I would like to run the LinQ BRP Fuel caddy behind the seat and the Lock and Ride Flex tall bag behind it. I am not sure if it would fit the default T-Slot location in the rear as it may require the Lock and Ride Flex Retro Kit PN 2884939 behind the SSM LinQ adapter plate or if the little Lock and Ride feet would fit under the adapter. I have a 146 Assault coming so I have a little extra room on the tunnel.

    • @krazykanucksperformance2242
      @krazykanucksperformance2242  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@marcusluck8491 I see, yeah technically that would fit then with that retro adapter. Why not go with the LinQ Sport bag and get 2xSSM brackets, probably be a bit cleaner.

    • @marcusluck8491
      @marcusluck8491 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@krazykanucksperformance2242 I actually do have a LinQ medium bag from my old sled. Where I ride up in Tug Hill I wouldn't need the fuel caddy 90% of the time so I thought the one lock and ride flex might be easier. It probably would be cleaner and cheaper to just go with your suggestion though. I wish Polaris would just come out with a lock and ride flex fuel caddy. Thanks for all the responses!

      @@marcusluck8491 in that case I would go LinQ and mount it closest to seat when not using fuel caddy. This way you have options of what to mount where. We wish they had some fuel/oil options too. Maybe coming up they will.
