  • I show you how to install Slime Tire Sealant into a flat tire. 16 oz. bottle. It's straightforward and easy. I leave the Slime Tire Sealant in my tires for up to two years while it seals and plugs air leaks.
    You can find Slime Tire Sealant (affiliate): amzn.to/2swA4jc
    Bike pump: amzn.to/3iL5MVk
    Slime Tire Sealant prevents and repairs flat tires. Seals instantly. Fibro-seal technology. non-toxic, cleans up with water, tire sensor safe. Microfibers patented formula are carried by the escaping air to the puncture where they build up to form a plug that stops air loss. Instantly seals tread area puncture up to 1/4" in size. Safe for finished metal wheels. Works repeatedly for 2 years. Non-flammable and non-toxic. For cars, motorcycles, trucks, trailers, scooters. 16 oz. bottle.
    Instructions:
    1. Position valve core in upper half of tire.
    2. Slowly remove valve core with tool in cap.
    3. Allow tire to fully deflate.
    4. Remove object if possible.
    5. Attach hose and squeeze in slime. 6 replace valve core.
    7. Inflate tire.
    8. Drive. stop. verify seal and check pressure.

    Will this stop a slow leak on a already plugged tire . Already plugged it 3 times but a few days later it leaks slowly. Wonder if the slime will seal around the plug

      @finisher3x I got the one on this video. IT DID WORK!!. Tire had a larger leak when i changed and double plugged just so it had fresh plugs. Even like that, the leak started to get smaller after 6 hours no more leak. I have mud tires and the hole was close to the side wall . I decided to just get a new tire and not risk a blow out on the highway. yes they are expensive but a new fender is 4 times more expensive 😅

      I have used a bike pump on car or truck tires, but only to add up to about 5 pounds. With my pump it is always 7 strokes per pound. For 30 lbs pressure, that is pretty extreme and a major workout.

    I have just a tiny puncture in my tire that causes the tire to deflate every 15 days or so, although I always fill it up at a gss station since I don't have an air pump at home. Is it possible to squeeze the Slime sealant into the tire without letting it deflate completely, by that I mean will the sealant have the same effect with air that's escaping as opposed to a tire that's already deflated and then filled with air afterwards?

    • @dacodabaker5309
      @dacodabaker5309 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      No, the internal air pressure in the tire will just push air from inside of a tire to inside of the bottle of slime and once you take off the bottle of slime, any slime that you did get in there that is still in the valve stem will come spraying out at you. Speaking from experience unfortunately.

    Question. If you put the sealant in, there is a big assumption that the slime will cover a nail. The slime will just drip to the bottom of the tire. How in the world do you get a good coating around the whole tire? And I also understand that you should spin the tire, but you would not be able to inflate it unless its sealed first. Whats the secret?

    • @mcearl8073
      @mcearl8073 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      smorrow0816 there’s no real secret, you have to inflate the tire after putting the slime in it and then go drive the car for a few miles and that spreads it out. If the tire is leaking so much you can’t fill it up and drive it for a bit it’s probably going to need something more than just slime, if it’s just a rather slow leak you’ll be fine putting the slime in, filling the tire with air and driving.

    • @mcearl8073

      Sam Morrow Sure no problem. I just picked up one bottle of it for my car that has a slow leak. I used it in my riding mower that always kept getting flats and it was great, never had a flat since then.

      @@mcearl8073 I know that fix a tire is crap and lasts for 3 days or 100 miles. Does this tire slime last until you actually have to buy a new tire due to tread getting low? Or is tire slime just like a week thing then get tire fixed?

    • @mcearl8073
      @mcearl8073 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Tulameen Gold Tire slime seems to last indefinitely as far as I know. It can be used as a preventative measure as well and they sell inner tubes for bikes with it already inside and it’ll seal up any punctures. It’s been 9 months since I put it in my car tire that was going flat every 2-3 days and it hasn’t leaked since and when I used it on my riding lawnmower it fixed the tire that always went flat and it was still holding air when I got rid of it. I don’t know what it would be to have to change the tire after, probably a bit of a mess but it’s definitely better than fix a flat. Fix a flat inflates the tire a bit as well though, with the slime you’ll need to inflate it with a compressor or something.

      @@mcearl8073 Thank you for your reply. Yeah, my front right tire goes flat sometimes every 2-3 days and sometimes every 9-10 days. Random as heck. I will try this stuff out. Hopefully it does not ruin the tire sensors?

    Easier and safer way is to have an actual tire wedge and simply put the slime in the tire once its off the rim.

      Kyle Trautman I hate it when people concern themselves with things they have no reason to concern themselves with. The car clearly looks like a beater car, the paints faded, tires aren’t great, it looks dirty and there’s some rust. I doubt the guy is concerned about hub caps, he’s concerned about a-b transportation.
