Surrender Prayer!
Hide me, in your Holy wounds today, lessen, my desires to be known, cut short, my desire to be loved, uproot the evil desires within me, and the powers of evil, coming against me today, help me, to live today, close to your Holy will, fill my heart, with your love. (St. Alphonsa) Loving God, I surrender my mind, my heart and my body, use it, for your eternal glory today. I surrender, every single child of yours, who is struggling like me, wash and immerse us, into the Ocean of, Precious blood of Jesus, and fill us, with the Holy Spirit, and let us witness your love on Earth, Amen.

Praying for God's Healing and Deliverance upon His Children.
Father God, we believe and profess that you are all powerful God. You always listen to the prayers of your children. We surrender the totality of our life today, asking your healing hand upon our Body and Soul. Let there be healing in the Name of Jesus Christ. I command in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, all evil powers, who trouble us today. By the power of the most precious body and blood of CHRIST. Let them move into the foot of the cross and never come back again. I am the Child of the Father, I am the body of Jesus Christ and I am the temple of the Holy Spirit and I belong to heaven, devil you have no power and authority over me.
O blood and water, which gushed forth from the heart of Jesus as a fountain of mercy for us, I trust in You".

When Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he had been there a long time, he said to him, “Do you want to be made well?”
(Vs. 6)
Reading this chapter today, I realize Jesus could be asking me the same question. A straightforward question that only requires a "Yes" or "No" answer. Am I also giving rather a justified answer just as in verse 7, finger pointing and blaming others. When it comes to Jesus, I ought to be Truthful, open and transparent. How much I need or want a positive change in my life must reflect in my spontaneous response to Jesus, if it's "Yes" or "No". I should not hesitate or give excuses. Upon further introspection of my own heart, I realize, it's not whether Jesus wants to heal me, it's clear He wants to. It's whether I am willing to make concrete changes in my life, lifestyle and many areas of my life so that there is wholesome, overall and ongoing healing in my life be it health, physical, spiritual, mental, social, financial etc. Jesus also says to me today, "See, you have been made well! Do not sin any more, so that nothing worse happens to you.” (Vs.14). Many times I do not see bad eating habits, poor and ignorant financial planning and spending, lack of physical, spiritual and mental health activities, positive social activities, lack of productive rest, are areas that literally affect my health collectively. When Jesus is willing to heal me, should I stubbornly refuse to leave my old ways and cling on to them or should I surrender them all to Jesus and allow Him to melt me, mould me and change me, healing me and making me new?
Dear Lord, Thank You for the gift of Your willing healing. Change our hearts, make them new. Remove selfish living and give us hearts of selfless giving. Our lives are not our own. We belong to You. Heal us and help us to live as You want us to.
