Surrender Prayer!
Hide me, in your Holy wounds today, lessen, my desires to be known, cut short, my desire to be loved, uproot the evil desires within me, and the powers of evil, coming against me today, help me, to live today, close to your Holy will, fill my heart, with your love. (St. Alphonsa) Loving God, I surrender my mind, my heart and my body, use it, for your eternal glory today. I surrender, every single child of yours, who is struggling like me, wash and immerse us, into the Ocean of, Precious blood of Jesus, and fill us, with the Holy Spirit, and let us witness your love on Earth, Amen.
Word of God:
31 We know that God does not listen to sinners, but he does listen to one who worships him and obeys his will.

Praying for God's Healing and Deliverance upon His Children.
Father God, we believe and profess that you are all powerful God. You always listen to the prayers of your children. We surrender the totality of our life today, asking your healing hand upon our Body and Soul. Let there be healing in the Name of Jesus Christ. I command in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, all evil powers, who trouble us today. By the power of the most precious body and blood of CHRIST. Let them move into the foot of the cross and never come back again. I am the Child of the Father, I am the body of Jesus Christ and I am the temple of the Holy Spirit and I belong to heaven, devil you have no power and authority over me.
O blood and water, which gushed forth from the heart of Jesus as a fountain of mercy for us, I trust in You".

And once again he bent down and wrote on the ground. (Vs. 8)
I must admit that I was amazingly humoured by this text today, when the accusations came and Jesus bent down to write on the ground- twice. (I do think that Jesus also has a wonderful sense of humour). I wonder what Jesus wrote on the ground. The text doesn't say, but I think I may be allowed to imagine it. That was when I found it so humourous. Was He writing the names and sins of everyone of her accusers there, beginning from old to young? Was He writing their judgement? Was he writing their final destination?
Well, it's not important what He wrote. My humour was short lived when the joke turned on me. What if I brought someone in public and accused them mercilessly? What if I did it to intentionally humiliate him/her just to justify my own self-righteousness?
Would Jesus also bend down - twice, to write my own name and sins? Would He be writing my judgement? Would He be writing my final destination. It's often easy to see the faults of others so quickly and openly. Worse still, bringing the accusations, one after another against any person is character assassination, equivalent to breaking the 5th Commandent, " Thou shalt not kill".
So I ask myself ," Where does this evil behaviour come from?" Jesus has the answer for me today. "You are from your father the devil, and you choose to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks according to his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies."(Vs. 44). So because God has given me freewill, it's really my choice whose nature I choose to have, Jesus' nature or the devil's nature. The consequences, whatever my choice may be, because of freewill, I must face. It's always funny when the joke is on someone else. It's truthfully scary when the jokes on me.
Dear Lord, Thank You for the gift of freewill and choices. We don't have to follow the majority, the crowd. Help us to make a positive difference in our own lives daily and a blessed difference in the lives of those we connect to everyday. By Your grace, we will share the heart of Jesus with everyone, the heart of great love , mercy and compassion.
