@@RollingSolo no problem im just looking for mostly a solo playthrough but maybe with the coopertive new califonria scenario if thats even possible to play solo
I can't wait to open this on Christmas. My wife got it for me. Have you tried the others and, if so, which was your favorite? I like the Vault Dweller but I also like to go out of the norm for the Ghoul!!
First play for me was yesterday, waiting to see what Adam does as I think I may have stuffed the faction ladder, and the rules seem unclear on it's progress to me
@@RollingSolo I'm a fool lol found it in the other deck. Appreciate the response. I'm currently trying to get a grasp on the game but keep fumbling when I have 2 cards with multiple quests and or test rolls. If a test roll says PL:3 can I still attempt to pass the skill check if I don't have P&L in "Special" or do I automatically not pass the check?
@@RollingSolo no worries! I do love board games similar to fallout (even if I don't fully grasp it yet) and axis and allies. I just enjoy the head to head dice rolls for hit points. If you have any recommendations that are similar I'm open to suggestions, especially if you've played anything like that on your channel. I'm subscribed. Thanks
If you want a fun vs game than Arcadia Quest or Starcadia Quest might be a great fit for you. Lots of dice action and the gameplay is a lot of ‘take that’ action.
Thank you also love the series. Got the game for Christmas and the rule books were kind of confusing to me but the way you explained everything in your videos finally helped me understand and I was able to play.
Hey Eduardo, best thing to do is check BGG for Fallout. On the main page, scroll down to the Community Wiki section and they have a list of card numbers and sleeves that work with the game. I use Mayday and FFG with a couple others thrown in here and there. Hope that helps!
57mm × 90 mm for the standard card. 41mm × 63mm for the mini card size. And if U want for the senario cards 103mm × 128mm (Swan sleeves) I used sleeve kings and Swan sleeves
I tell you what, when you get into the rules overview, I hope you have better luck than I did trying to figure out the Loyalty rules. There is some vague references that you cannot attack certain enemies when you are loyal to a faction, but it really does not explain it very well..
I've noticed a lot of confusion over the Loyalty rules. Mainly, I think, because the rule sounds more important than it actually did. All that it does is prevent the faction tokens, which represent enemies, from moving towards you and attacking you. It also prevents you from attacking them. It has no bearing on scoring, faction advancement, or completing faction quests. And you can change your loyalty from turn to turn just by revealing a different card.
Thanks Hedge, I initially thought it was as simple as if you are Loyal to the Institute you simply do not attack or be attacked by Institute faction counters. But some believe that it did go further than that so you could not attack a Synth as part of a quest if you were loyal to the institute. Using the word "enemies" instead of something more specific really threw me off...
@@RollingSolo Looking at it, it seems very fun. Thank you for the suggestion. However what I meant is something closer to the first few games (1,2, and Tactics). I imagine it would look something like a combination between this and Kingdom Death Monster.
Thanks for your videos on the Fallout Board Game , I have been on the fence on buying this but I've made up my mind now. The only question I have is How many card sleeves do I need to order for this game? (To keep the cards protected) Also Do you recommend some sort of plastic box to hold all the small pieces?
Hello Keith, no problem and I’m glad they helped you in your decision! In terms of the number of cards, there is 100 standard and 112 mini. If you go to BGG and check the main page for Fallout(or any game), card counts are mentioned in the Community Wiki section. In terms of the small pieces, I just use baggies from a dollar store. You can buy quite a large amount for very cheap. Hope this helps you out! :)
I vote for the Wastelander because she's got the worst starting position. Having played this a couple times, I can't see how the single player game could be hard at all.

Thank you so much for this! I got it a little bit ago and was confused on how it works but this helped immensely!
Nice! Thanks Timothy. Great to hear that. Enjoy!
I'm going to try this but at a slower pace. I think I'll uncover all the tiles near the start to build myself up a little.
Good plan! Expansions for this game really help the base game experience. Recommend implementing the main game stuff right away.
AMAZING!!... Thank you for all your work!... This is now my favorite channel!
Hey Martin! That's awesome to hear, thanks so much. Glad you founds and you're enjoying the content. See you around! :D
Really looking forward to this. I’m really enjoying this game right now. My vote is for the ghoul since I haven’t seen him in any other play.
Woohoo! Great to hear and I am as well. Another vote for the Ghoul!
Picked one up a few days ago. Very fun. Worth the money
Nice! Good to hear. Hope these videos help you out. See you around! :D
could you do this sort of thing with the expansion for this game including a gameplay of it maybe?
That would be fun! I have everything for the game so that’s certainly a possibility! Thanks for the suggestion Miles.

Hello Adam, clearly I chose the Ghoul haha .Thanks for the playthrough!
The Ghoul is pretty cool ;)
Vault Dweller for classic, and ghoul because he's fun!
Good choices! The Ghoul is fun you say? Hmm :)
Play BoS Outcast. His model looks so cool and armor he gets is good!
His mini is pretty epic! Thanks for the vote. :)
Another great one, however long ago you made this one 👌
Thanks so much! I enjoyed this playthrough. 😄👍🏼
I am all for the classic Vault Dweller
Vault Dweller votes counted! Cheers!
I went classic and started with the Vault Dweller, go forceful and Super Mutant, that's just a different choice
Thanks for the feedback Adam! The Super Mutant certainly looks cool!

You Sexy Beast you! I've been searching for so long to find someone to explain "everything" and not skim past things.
Thank you.
Thanks awesome to hear! I hope seeing the game played in real-time is a benefit :)
I just bought the game, opened it up for solo play and realized im missing one of the stage cards for far harbor. Not sure how to proceed 😔
Oh really? That’s very rare for FFG. Don’t forget to get Atomic Bonds. It’s a must.

🤣 It happens! Honestly it’s been a bit so the rules are foggy in my head atm. I blame learning multiple new games a week as the cause. haha

a few years later, what are your thoughts on this game? I realized I prefer sandbox experiences vs campaigns
I love it! You have to grab all expansions for it. Especially Atomic Bonds. It’s great solo!
Can you do another setup? Everyone’s only playing the commonwealth
Hey Kristopher, the Fallout Showcase is done. I may revisit in the future but can’t make any promises. Thanks for the support. Cheers!
I’m getting it Saturday!!!
Awesome! Sounds like a good weekend ahead for you! :D
am i doing something wrong my cards start at 014 and every now and then the numbers jump about 3-4 and i have no 1-13
never mind didnt know you merged the cards together thought the quest cards were only used
Glad you got it figure out Deke! Sorry I was late on responding to this. Father's Day kept me busy. Cheers!
Where did you get your card protectors? I can’t find the ones for the smaller cards.
The sleeves? I believe Mayday sleeves. 😄
Thank you also love the series. Got the game for Christmas and the rule books were kind of confusing to me but the way you explained everything in your videos finally helped me understand and I was able to play.
Thanks so much! 🤩
Had fun covering this one. 🔥
definitely go with the ghoul in Central
Thanks for the feedback Wallace! See you in the playthrough!
Where did you get the card sleeves for this game , i've looking for them but i can't find them, please answer me i need them
Hey Manuel! They’re Mayday sleeves. Not the premium ones though. Hope this helps!
i would like to see the wastelander She looks cool :)
And start East
Thanks for the feedback on the character and position Gert! She does look pretty rad.
What sleeves were used on your cards? Looks perfectly fit. Can you point me an online store with them?

Classic Vault Dweller.
Always a solid choice! Thanks for the feedback James!
I do wish they had a Fallout rpg that was readily available.
Fallout Wasteland Warfare? You can make an RPG out of that tabletop experience!
@@RollingSolo Looking at it, it seems very fun. Thank you for the suggestion.

Ah I see what you’re after. I haven’t found that in board game form yet. One day?

Because there’s two books to read before you play.

Goul and central left
The Ghoul seems to be a popular choice here! Thanks for the feedback.

goul
Ghoul

Ya, I got away from holding the camera many moons ago. Much easier to follow along. Thanks for watching!
Play the ghoul! I want him to shine
The rads consume you!
