I’m probably the only subscriber that’s actually laid eyes on Jeremy’s YJ in person.. was at his shop a few weeks back and the tub is on the frame… it’s a slick build for sure… I live in the same county, and im usually there inquiring about boat parts and wind up drooling over this yj!!
It is without a doubt an awesome build! It is sooo clean!! I have some more video footage of his rig that I need to get edited. Thanks for dropping in!
Ok! So, I have to start out by saying... I never would have had the confidence to rebuild my YJ if it wasn't for you! You get absolutely all the credit! Just a little background... I knew how to change my oil and tire, nothing about vehicles or even vehicle maintenance until 2020 out of necessity. My YJ had been sitting for more than 5 years, after a minor tip over by my son. He never fixed it... Now she's now up and running.. Ah, some minor hiccups here and there.. lol... Talk about that later.. It's a YJ... But, this is next level.. And I have to do this!! I even have a spare YJ.. Hmmmm the wheels are turning!~ Sincere Thanks for everything you've helped myself and everyone else with!!!!!!
Love this build. Hopefully we'll get another vid on a dyno to see his HP, TQ, and MPG once he is done with the build. Love the outtakes at the end. Keep them coming. Thanks.
You are welcome. It is a very nice build for sure!! He and I do have other videos planned as the build progresses. We were having fun while shooting the video so I thought it would be fun to add the bloopers. Glad you enjoyed the video!!
@@Poweraddicts Thanks and that's good to know. I think they make kits for it now that make a larger hole but have an good sealing access door. Like a port. Good stuff and look forward to seeing your progress.
I was waiting for you to chime in :-) . I'm getting more proficient with this new video editing software I was forced to switch over to. I'll be back on editing the other footage we shot soon. Later brother!!
The drive line is in the factory configuration/location. Is similar in length to the 2.5L 4 cylinder factory gas engine but both are considerably shorter than the 4.0L 6 cylinder it originally had.

I'm in the process of acquiring a v2203 for something to build it into
Love the fuel pump access door. Going to drop that in my 88' also.
It is a great mod. It makes pump access really easy without dropping the tank. Here is the link to the video. th-cam.com/video/1UUQcDOolaM/w-d-xo.html

That is awesome!
Glad you enjoyed the video. It is a very sweet rig he is building!!
Would love to have a diesel swap on my YJ. Wonder how much he would charge to swap mine. Love the video and build.
Very cool.
It is a cool build for sure!!
What kind of horsepower and torque are expected?
Horsepower: approx 66hp @ 2700 rpm
Torque: approx 162 lb-ft @ 1600 rpm
So the jeep pressure plate just straight bolts to the kabota flywheel?
The Kubota flywheel was drilled and tapped in house for the AX15 pressure plate....I also machined the pilot bearing bushing....hope that helps
What year astro van for the hydro Bost
1990-93 works for a fact.....hope that helps
Call me peanut butter and jealous.
Thats one I haven't heard before. I like that!! Glad you enjoyed the video! His build is turning out so good!!
Seems to be to far back in the chassis
Nope, it's just a much shorter engine. The transmission, transfer case and drive shafts are all in the factory locations.
