Thanks very much, the camera does make things larger and the layout looked good anyway with lots of little details. For example when I see N scale layouts I've filmed before at other shows I'm always amazed how small they are in real life!
Hi Paul Slyfield. Just found your cracking little stabling point via You Tube, it looks fantastic & I've fallen in love with it. ( What can be achieved with just three sets of points ). Were you inspired by Mr Ian Futers by any chance? I'm guessing the scenic section dimensions are a max. of 6 ft long by 2 ft wide? Or is it slightly smaller than my guestimate? Anyhoo, again it looks & sounds superb, Paul. Very well done, I can't stop watching it in action.
@@wullie3xv923 hi, I thought I’d already replied to you but can’t see it. Inspiration came from various micro layout pages. The scenic dimensions are about 4 ft by 18 inches. I’d been wanting to try back to back 3 way points for some time
@@paul-slyfield Many thanks for replying, Paul. Wow, it looks bigger than 4 feet by 18 inches in the video, so there's the potential for it to be recreated on a slightly bigger baseboard to allow a few more loco's to be "stabled". Found out recently you were at the Cupar Model Railway show last month so could have seen it "in the flesh" but I didn't go ! ( I'm just down the road from Cupar in the Kirkcaldy area ). Thanks again.
@@wullie3xv923 that’s a shame you missed it. It will be at Coatbridge in three weeks but that’s probably a bit of a trek. It will have a rest after that, I’m at Falkirk in November but with the East Kilbride clubs Stanley Junction in N gauge and at Paisley in December with my new ultra micro in N gauge
That littleun we can hear is a budding engineman I reckon.
Good to engage youngsters young!
Thanks for filming this, you’ve managed to make my wee layout look very impressive.
