Really nice walk around and your very wide knowledge of all the different models and cars was very impressive. It seemed like nearly all the stands were roped off, invite only I'm guessing? You can probably understand the reasons when you have cars worth multi millions, you would want to try and protect them etc. Still seems like a shame if you cant get really close to have a proper look around cars, that most people will have never seen before. Really enjoyed the walk around though, can you stay on for long, after the show seemed to have closed down for the day? Is there security to kick you out...😉😀
Majority of the stands would actually allow you to walk around inside. There would be a queue of people in a line waiting to go through as each stand could only have a certain amount of people on it at a time. Mercedes was the only stand that imposed this rule from what I saw. Funny enough the Porsche stand nextdoor to them was fully opened up and accessible for anyone to walk through. Towards the end of the show most stands put up their ropes. I was there as an exhibitor so I had as much access as I wanted. You could stay there pretty late but most of the cars will have covers over them 10 minutes after the show ends for the day.
Thanks for the amazing tour, and I'm impressed by the extent of your knowledge about these ultra-rare machines. Could've watched this for hours haha
PERFECT coverage, thanks!
