Sorry I’ve disappeared for a while, I haven't had motivation to do work, but yeah I’ve finally finished this animatic!! I already started with Beautiful a while ago, but I lost ideas 2 minutes into the song bsakdjaksbd
ANYWAYS, This is supposed to be a 5k subscribers special but I haven't reached 5k yet lol.
Shine a Light is one of my most favorite Heathers song and there isn’t enough animatics for it??????? Tbh, I still need to finalize my design for Ms.Fleming, and i got lazy in the end of the animatic sOO,,
There are various things in the animatic that have deeper meaning that i would like to explain, but i think it'll be better if you guys find out/notice them for yourselves! :^D (edit: i also might explain a bit of it once someone notices something ayeee)

Edit: I just recently read the book, and I found out after Words Fail events took place in the book, he stands in the middle of the road, and waiting to be run over by a car, but Connor's ghost saved him. )

@@Abananapie she really didn't in any way shape or form. Jd and Veronica did, as they're the whole reason why Mac was even sad, because they killed her friends. Duke was just a little mean to her. Ms.Fleming is actually such a queen and I don't think it's acknowledged enough.
Yo, I just realized that when she says "But God's not there", it could be the writers trying to say that "God" as in, "Our Love Is God", is gone. So there is no love.
Ms. Fleming could be a bit insensitive at times, but only out of ignorance and not malice. She has good intentions, and is probably the nicest (and most emotionally stable) of the staff at that school lol. Glad she got her own song! Also damn 1:25 she be spittin' rhymes!
Yeah, people hate on her because she doesn't help the kids who really need it, but it can be difficult to realize someone needs help and that what you do isn't enough

I don't know if it's explained in the musical but I like imagining that the ones who sing her song are just the theatre kids who think she's wack and love her for it.
Am I the only person who's noticed that JD is all red in this to I assume symbolise that he has effectively usurped Heather Chandler and Kurt and Ram's place as the de facto king of the school hierarchy without anyone else even realising it? Also note the positioning oh him in between the other two Heathers which makes the connection between him and Heather Chandler more obvious. Another thing to note is while Heather C. often manipulated and treated Veronica as a pet despite being her friend, someone who should have her back J.D. is now doing the same thing despite being her boyfriend, someone who apparently is supposed to love and care for her. I suppose alternatively it could also be to show that where before Veronica was terrorised by Heather C. and Kurt and Ram it is J.D. who is going to be doing that going forward.
As much as Pauline was shown to be in the wrong, and like, stupid, I do actually agree with her philosophy of just "be proud of you and it'll be fine"

Then she reels it back in. Heather Chandler's "top dog" philosophy has her around the neck too tightly to be free of, at least not that easily. McNamara opens her heart for the promise of this world, and Heather Duke, clinging to her twisted sense of power, splits it across the seams, and puts her in her place.

it's interesting how Ms. Fleming acted like she cared but this song kinda shows how she wasn't sincere, she didn't really "connect" with the children and talked about her problems instead🤔
She tried to help, but she was clearly not qualified and enjoyed the drama way too much.

'Cause if so, I have a very very dark fear of my friends and family being in danger, and sometimes become so protective I'm an absolute a-hole to either other people or them.
