Surah Al-Ghashiyah - Day 12 - Ramadan with the Quran - Nouman Ali Khan

In this video, Ustadh Nouman explains the heart of Surah Al-Ghashiyah where Allah urges disbelievers to contemplate the world around them with humility. It is as if Allah is telling us to take advantage of the journey we are still on in this world because only then can we be prepared for the life that is coming. Allah then addresses Prophet Muhammad, telling him that since Allah has given every human the capacity to arrive at the truth on his own, his sole responsibility is to keep on reminding people.

I really like the last conclusion. That Allah's punishment in the Qur'an is actually refering to a specific people, in the past, who lived with Rasul. And not your non-muslim neighbor. And that we should becareful on what He really means. People, including me, should really change their judgement 😊 May Allah always grant us this kind of knowledge.

yes indeed. we dont know what is in the hear of your neighbor perhaps that person is begging Allah for guidance, we never know, that person can become a wali of Allah over night. Really i have seen this with my own eyes.

Subhanallah I'm honestly baffled and left in awe at the beauty of Allah's words and the way Brother Nouman signifies certain aspects using literature to dictate to us the magnificence of The Quran, is tremendously heart touching. I can not expand on how much I loved this commentary. Jazakallah hu Khair so much and may Allah make us amongst those who's faces will be in glamour on that terrifying day.

Jazak Allah alf khair, I do not agree with that the people of prophet Mohamads time who did not believe will be punished more than the people now because now we have the science and intellect to evaluate the Qoran to be the words of Allah subhanu wa tala.
I think that our time people will have the greatest punishment for not believing.
