I don't know if you'll ever see this Bunny, but I've recently started using coconut oil to remove makeup. It's really effective and gentle, even on waterproof mascara. I rub it on my skin, put a hot face towel over my face for 15 secs to open my pores then wipe it all off. Once is enough in the mornings but I do it twice to remove make up and it's surprisingly awesome I have to say. I have super oily skin but weirdly it doesn't make my skin any oiler. It's a microfiber cloth. they can be used on cars to polish/detail cars. Micro fiber cloths could be picked up at any automotive shop and maybe a hardware shop....don't think you could get a pink one though! haha
I don't think it is microfiber. It's a lot like a warm blanket though. Y'know the ones that have a long fluffy side but the top side of the blanket is short and soft....

Laura Wilson you're right, any towel will work but microfiber works best. Plus you have to take into account the fact that the skin on your face is much more sensitive a regular towel would be too harsh especially if you have super sensitive skin

Hey Bunny! I just wanted to let you know I also have an extremely sensitive skin and I stopped using makeup removers and switched to micelar waters a looooooooong time ago.... those things are truly magical like unicorns sparkling backwards in a broomstick while chacha dancing. My favorite one is made by a brand called bioderma, and its their sensibio micellar cleansing water, You just put it on a cotton pad and done; you really don't need to wash it off afterward if you don't want to (which is nice when you're as lazy as I am). I have yet to experience any rash, discomfort or dryness from this micelar water and though I don't really know if you were looking for something like that but I just thought I would let you know. A few years ago I had horrible cystic acne all over the lower portion of my face and no matter what products I used it wouldn't go away. After a while I became fed up with the chemicals in acne controlling skin care and I started using olive oil to remove my makeup, honey to clean it, apple cider vinegar to help with the acne (only two to three times a week) and a light moisturizer like aveeno to moisturize. Within two weeks all of the acne was gone and for the past few years my skin has been in great condition. My scars have almost completely faded and I only break out around my time of the month and even then it is only two or three small pimples that go away within a couple days! Sorry for the paragraph, but maybe try out the organic route and see how your skin reacts.
Olive oil actually doesn't clog pores at all. I've never once had a problem with that. It's really healing. Other types like vegetable oil and canola oil probably would though. So if you ever do try it, just stick to the organic extra virgin olive oil. :D
Huh, this is pretty interesting. I'll have to try it :) I haven't had much issue with acne in the past few years (around when my growth plates closed, so maybe the extra hormones caused it) but I have the worst issue with my skin drying out and becoming aggravated on a regular basis.

This is basically just a long nap microfiber cloth. I grabbed a package of microfiber cloths at the dollar store and use them. Works really well with just water or you can use cleanser on them. I just can't see spending $20 for one cloth when you can get a regular microfiber cloth much cheaper.
Seems like a great idea but I wear makeup almost everyday but I don't use the washing machine daily so it would get a bit annoying to hand wash or forget to put it in the washing machine and it goes moldy. xD
***** I only change my face cloth once a week. I don't see the issue washing them once a week if you're using a facial cleanser on them as well to wash your face. You're kind of cleaning the cloth as well as your face. I usually wash my wash cloth with soap afterwards though to get all the makeup off. Now if you don't use soap on a cleanser on your cloth and only wash it once per week, then ya that would be gross lol
Everyone always makes a fuss about this and it can be so easy! I've been doing the same thing for YEARS! And it works on every makeup that I've EVER tried! You want to know what it is? LOTION!!!! I use Nivia for sensitive skin or skin treatment or something like that. It has no perfumes and it works AMAZING!!!! For my eyes I put about 5 pumps on a few pieces of toilet paper, (I use a lot of mascara, but if you don't, you could use like 3 pumps). And for the rest of my face, (I wear concealer, foundation, powder, bronzer, and blush) I use about 7-8 pumps on normal paper towels (It works better with rougher paper towels). And the amount of lotion really depends on; 1. How good your makeup is. Like how well it stays on your face. And 2. How much makeup you put on. But I swear on this technique! It won't dissapoint! :)
I know sieve leone works and baby oil but not %100 sure about using moisturiser as I would think it would just make you breakout and or maybe cause you to just absorbe your makeup into your face..
I've always used any kind of lotion to take my eye makeup off. It's very gentle and works instantly. Then I use makeup remover pads for acne-prone skin to wipe the rest of my face makeup off. Lotion is also a really cheap option.
exactly! i just wash my face with plain soap and remove the rest of make up with cheapest facial cream. sometimes i use make-up remover if i find a cheap one. but actually facial cream is better. i don't have acne or other stuff like that (except for cold soars). i do have sensitive skin though. and the least products i use, the simpler they are the better. the only thing i strongly believe you need to have is a cream you put on your face after washing that is good for you (cuz soap dries skin) and if you have dry/oily skin - a product for that. ps: i believe that acne is an age problem. by 26-30 it's gone itself. the important thing is not to have scars left and learn how to cover it with make up

I have one of those. I do add a gentle face wash to help remove everything including the waterproof mascara. But it does work well and it washes out wonderfully.
I bet that's a microfiber cloth -- I've seen company's charge $$$ for them even though they're cheap. I use damp microfiber cloths to remove make-up & cleanse (w/ gel cleanser). They're great for my oily/acne-prone skin, easy to wash & quick to air-dry. I buy them from Dollar Tree.
I LOVE my makeup eraser. You do not have to wash it every day. I came upon this product at a Bridal Fair. The girls selling this product told us you should wash it once a week or when it is covered with makeup, which ever comes first. It takes my mascara off better than any makeup remover wipe I have ever used. I usually press it against my eyelashes, with my eye closed, and and kind of wiggle it down with a small amount of pressure. I then open my eye and place it under my lashes and wipe up. I just repeat until my mascara is gone! Love this product, and love you! I hope this becomes one of your daily routines!

I tried this! And it was wonderful, but I found it a little too much for my skin sometimes :( but it really is good.
Coconut Oil can be VERY comedogenic for some people. You need to patch test it first to make sure it won't clog your pores.
You can also use 100% natural Almond oil :) and its really good for your skin

I just wanted to let you know I also have an extremely sensitive skin and I stopped using makeup removers and switched to micelar waters a looooooooong time ago.... those things are truly magical like unicorns sparkling backwards in a broomstick while chacha dancing. My favorite one is made by a brand called bioderma, and its their sensibio micellar cleansing water, You just put it on a cotton pad and done; you really don't need to wash it off afterward if you don't want to (which is nice when you're as lazy as I am). I have yet to experience any rash, discomfort or dryness from this micelar water and though I don't really know if you were looking for something like that but I just thought I would let you know.

I don't feel comfortable buying something "As Seen on TV" or gimmicky without Miss Bunny's seal of approval. Just sayin'....
A few years ago I had horrible cystic acne all over the lower portion of my face and no matter what products I used it wouldn't go away. After a while I became fed up with the chemicals in acne controlling skin care and I started using olive oil to remove my makeup, honey to clean it, apple cider vinegar to help with the acne (only two to three times a week) and a light moisturizer like aveeno to moisturize. Within two weeks all of the acne was gone and for the past few years my skin has been in great condition. My scars have almost completely faded and I only break out around my time of the month and even then it is only two or three small pimples that go away within a couple days! Sorry for the paragraph, but maybe try out the organic route and see how your skin reacts.

Olive oil actually doesn't clog pores at all. I've never once had a problem with that. It's really healing. Other types like vegetable oil and canola oil probably would though. So if you ever do try it, just stick to the organic extra virgin olive oil. :D
Huh, this is pretty interesting. I'll have to try it :) I haven't had much issue with acne in the past few years (around when my growth plates closed, so maybe the extra hormones caused it) but I have the worst issue with my skin drying out and becoming aggravated on a regular basis.

I use a damp microfibre cloth every night and it does the exact same thing as this did. I can get a pack of 5 microfibre cloths for £1.

This is basically just a long nap microfiber cloth. I grabbed a package of microfiber cloths at the dollar store and use them. Works really well with just water or you can use cleanser on them. I just can't see spending $20 for one cloth when you can get a regular microfiber cloth much cheaper.

Seems like a great idea but I wear makeup almost everyday but I don't use the washing machine daily so it would get a bit annoying to hand wash or forget to put it in the washing machine and it goes moldy. xD
You don't have to wash it every day. You choose when you want to wash this cloth. I have one and it is amazing an I wash it about every week.
***** I only change my face cloth once a week. I don't see the issue washing them once a week if you're using a facial cleanser on them as well to wash your face. You're kind of cleaning the cloth as well as your face. I usually wash my wash cloth with soap afterwards though to get all the makeup off. Now if you don't use soap on a cleanser on your cloth and only wash it once per week, then ya that would be gross lol

I have one of these. It's absolutely amazing!!! No chemicals, just water. Removes ALL my makeup.
She's definitely the funniest beauty guru out there.
Everyone always makes a fuss about this and it can be so easy! I've been doing the same thing for YEARS! And it works on every makeup that I've EVER tried! You want to know what it is? LOTION!!!! I use Nivia for sensitive skin or skin treatment or something like that. It has no perfumes and it works AMAZING!!!! For my eyes I put about 5 pumps on a few pieces of toilet paper, (I use a lot of mascara, but if you don't, you could use like 3 pumps). And for the rest of my face, (I wear concealer, foundation, powder, bronzer, and blush) I use about 7-8 pumps on normal paper towels (It works better with rougher paper towels). And the amount of lotion really depends on;
1. How good your makeup is. Like how well it stays on your face.
And
2. How much makeup you put on.
But I swear on this technique! It won't dissapoint! :)
I know sieve leone works and baby oil but not %100 sure about using moisturiser as I would think it would just make you breakout and or maybe cause you to just absorbe your makeup into your face..
I've always used any kind of lotion to take my eye makeup off. It's very gentle and works instantly. Then I use makeup remover pads for acne-prone skin to wipe the rest of my face makeup off. Lotion is also a really cheap option.
exactly! i just wash my face with plain soap and remove the rest of make up with cheapest facial cream. sometimes i use make-up remover if i find a cheap one. but actually facial cream is better. i don't have acne or other stuff like that (except for cold soars). i do have sensitive skin though. and the least products i use, the simpler they are the better. the only thing i strongly believe you need to have is a cream you put on your face after washing that is good for you (cuz soap dries skin) and if you have dry/oily skin - a product for that.
ps: i believe that acne is an age problem. by 26-30 it's gone itself. the important thing is not to have scars left and learn how to cover it with make up

I have one of those. I do add a gentle face wash to help remove everything including the waterproof mascara. But it does work well and it washes out wonderfully.
I'm kind of disappointed it's not actually a giant eraser.

I use damp microfiber cloths to remove make-up & cleanse (w/ gel cleanser). They're great for my oily/acne-prone skin, easy to wash & quick to air-dry. I buy them from Dollar Tree.
It's a proprietary blend of polyester, NOT microfiber and not a looped fabric like regular washcloths.
I love Dollar Tree! Going to have to make a trip for those cloths!

I LOVE my makeup eraser. You do not have to wash it every day. I came upon this product at a Bridal Fair. The girls selling this product told us you should wash it once a week or when it is covered with makeup, which ever comes first. It takes my mascara off better than any makeup remover wipe I have ever used. I usually press it against my eyelashes, with my eye closed, and and kind of wiggle it down with a small amount of pressure. I then open my eye and place it under my lashes and wipe up. I just repeat until my mascara is gone! Love this product, and love you! I hope this becomes one of your daily routines!

I have a similar item and I absolutely love it. I always end up with soap or oil makeup remover in my eyes, so I like being able to just use warm water and the cloth to get it off.
