That was so sweet the way you talked to that baby! I wish more of us would have had someone tell us that when we were growing up instead of constantly being told that our hair was unruly. I just recently big chopped and I speak life and words of affirmation to my hair daily and it has made a difference in how I care for my hair. Thank you for all you do!

I love your channel so much! I actually subscribed because of your sweet spirit before realizing you were legit (just being honest 😂😂😂). Thank you for speaking life into babygirl! I was like that's something I would and have done with my own daughter and other young ladies as well. My daughter is 19 now and loves her natural hair. I put her on to your videos. Thank you for all you do; I love you!!!

In Southern California the water is extremely harsh , with water deposit. I figure if we see all the build up on surface , that’s what’s happening to our scalp & follicle. I use distilled water multiple gallons of distilled water. To wash & shampoo my hair. Warm the water in a large pot. Your hair will feel soft. Also flaxseed oil with other oils help. Distilled water is good for your face as well. Last thé scalp messager you suggested last year. It is amazing. Thank you.

Thank for sharing on this topic! I’ve was diagnosed with two forms of alopecia. My lab results were normal so we never got to the root cause, but my provider suspects it may be an after-effect of a previous myomectomy surgery and a high-stress work environment combination…? I am currently being treated w/ steroid injections in my scalp every 3 months and a topical compound, minox/finas/fluoci (to calm inflammation and stimulate re-growth in hair follicles), as well as nutrafol vitamins. I opted against oral minox. I consistently shampoo/deep condition every 1.5-2 weeks. I have seen improvement in my hair texture, strength and significant decrease in shedding (previously lots of daily hair loss w/ white bulbs at ends), although I do still sometimes feel tenderness in certain parts of my scalp that comes and goes. I’ve never had issues w/ growth speed and length retention, however, the density decreased substantially. Is there anything else I should be doing to stimulate re-growth before it’s too late? I was told that we caught this in time before permanent damage to my follicles so I want to ensure I am doing everything I can to help my hair grow back while there’s still time.

Would encourage the first writer to speak to their healthcare provider to ensure their CoQ10 levels are met. Statins block CoQ10 which is needed for mitochondrial function in the initial complex phase.

I had been going to derm for over a year. It was for itchy scalp. Main location top of my head. They had given me shampoos cream and biopsy. Biopsy was okay. This year my thyroid was high. Doctor increased my medicine. Went back to doctor. It was okay. I went back to doctor last week. Complained about itchiness. Located on my back and underneath my breast. Also my scalp was itchy. They told me. Since I have a pinch nerve it might be causing itchiness on my scalp and back. Now I have go neurologist

I was wondering, would MCT OIL (fractionated coconut oil) have the same benefits as normal coconut oil when used as a prepoo? I don't want to use coconut oil - as it is food for the fungus that causes seborrheic dermatitis and dandruff, and I certainly don't want to encourage it's growth in any way. 😅

    Hey Tonya
Thanks for the video, very useful as usual ❤
Do you have tips for hormonal alopecia? Androgentic alopecia I mean ? I suffer from this, I used to use minoxidil but I had hair all over the face , though it really got better … dermatologists do not propose any other solution … I tried meso therapy, I tried rosemary oil .. everything… it did not get better 😢 😞
    Thank you again

My hair has the behavioristics of both high and low porosity. So I did the water test one wash week and it sank straight to the bottom did it the next wash day and it was floating on the top even after a while I kinda pushed it in the water more and it still stayed afloat. Can you help me figure out my hair’s porosity please? Oh by the way, water beads appear on my hair when wet, but my hair gets dry soon after washing it, so yeah. I’m confused
