A well balanced and thought out review video which I’ve come to expect from you. The tone of your voice is really easy to listen to. My favourite is the Rhinoshield CrashGuard Bumper. I use one on my s8. They even sent me an updated version for free except p&p. I’m in the U.k. I use a dbrand Black Dragon Back Skin and Official Samsung Film type screen protector.

Techisode TV it fits just fine as the edges of the dbrand skin are hardened off by using a Hair Dryer so its pretty much stuck on well. The look I have gives me minimal coverage but adequate protection.

How would you take out and use the Spen under water when the waterproof seal is open to get out the pen? Wouldn’t all the water go into the S pen hole? that doesn’t seem like a good idea to me..

Hi there, I have a question. So I'm wondering if there is a case out there that will protect the screen but also cover up the stylus pen section, without it being the bulky waterproof type? I have looked and looked and cant find one. I know you aren't supposed to drop the Note 8, but I'm very unfortunate and have dropped mine so much that my stylus pen falls out😖😔

I'm actually using a spigen case on my s7 Edge right now and love it. It's saved my phone a couple times from accidental drops. So I know it's going to be a great investment for my note 8.
That last Youmaker case was the one I thought would make wireless charging difficult. I've seen some say it works fine... others said they had problems. Have you noticed any problems with wireless charging on that case?

How did Uag not make this list? Very lightweight and protective case. I had the plasma series on my s8, and dropped it from about 15 feet at work and didn't have a scratch on it

I would recommend tech 21. I have had my case for 3 years on the note 5 and it is so thin and provides the perfect amount of perfection.
Great and informative video. I have a Spigen Tough Armor case, I really like it but I'm always worried about the screen being exposed to drops. Another thing, when I use the kick stand I tend to use it the other way around so I have easy access to volume buttons. The only difference is the viewing angle but its still good👍. Thanks for the video I might look into the Temdan and the last one with the long name. On the last case is the corner near the S pen too exposed if it is dropped on that corner? Thanks
+Mar Mag The Youmaker case (the last one) has really good coverage for the s pen corner. I wouldn't be worried about drops there 👍 And good point with using the tough armor kickstand the other way. I'll be sure to point that out the next time a do a case review :)

The tech21 Evo wallet case is fantastic. Hell, the S-view Flip View Wallet case is pretty cool. I might have to try out that Spigen wallet case.
K D Walker how is the tech21 evo wallet case? that case locks in a clip system but there is presence of a magnet inbetween the card holders to keep them together aside, does that affect s-pen functionality in any way????
The blue spigen is an amazing case, paired with a Puregear screen protector I have dropped my phone down the stairs and even accidently ran over my phone with my car after it fell out of my pocket while getting in and it doesn't have a scratch...TRUE STORY

Very nice cases. Thanks for showing them. Great review as always.. On the Osprey case with the card holder, I was reading that Samsung issued a warning not put credit cards or similar between the wireless charging pad and the phone as there's a big danger the card information on the magnetic strip and the embedded chip will be wiped by the electrical discharge from the pad rendering the cards useless. Just a warning.

I've been looking for that bumper case ever since I got the note in my hands.. but literally haven't been able to find it anywhere... I watched your video and got excited, clicked the link and it took me all the way to check out before telling me they were out of stock. That was when the video first dropped. I came back today to try my luck and it's still saying the same thing. Very disappointed. However I do like your video and I appreciate the useful information, defiantly better and more professional then most videos I've seen.

10:10 Magnetic cases always messed up s-pen functionality in previous Note phones. How does this case not?
Parts of the screen became temporarily insensitive to the s-pen when I used cases with magnets in them. Could you please test the whole screen with the s-pen after using this Spigen Wallet S?
+Gergo Viczian Hey, thanks for the question. I just checked the whole screen and everything works with the wallet s case on. That might be why they didn't put a magnet on the back of the case like I had hoped. Maybe other manufacturers have that magnet and that's why the S Pen doesn't work on those cases. Just a guess though. I'd have to get my hands on a "bad" case to know for sure.

Iblason cases I've used for note 2 note 4 and note 8. Missus have used the same for a s4 and s6. Won't use any other case company never had an issue with iblason

Jon Bledsoe when you turn your phone 90° (from portrait to landscape) look in the upper right hand portion of the screen. A box will be there with arrows inside pointing to the corners. Give her a tap and enjoy that entire gorgeous display!
Don't magnets mess with the screen and the s pen ??? I read that magnets cause the screen to stop working with the pen.

The official Rugged Protechtive Case from Samsung is the best back case for Note 8....lil expensive but best.

I love my spigen tough armour case. But I had to take it off due to it screwing up my screen protector. Anybody else have this issue?

Dude, it takes a crazy strong magnet to mess with your credit cards. also EVERY wallet case has a similar hard case inside, not just on the corners.

What apps work with the S. Pen? Especially photo editing apps and video editing apps? Since the Note 5 I struggle to find such apps with S. pen support. Do you agree that the Play Store has to provide more apps with S Pen support?

+RIPPER334 They are vastly more expensive for similar protection. They are great cases, but they seem significantly overpriced for the protection you get. If someone can afford it, or they get a great deal on it, they'll love those cases too.👍

It's a pretty subjective test when you eleminate a candidate for "best" case, based on price point... and a 55 dollar case for a 1000 phone doesn't seem to be "significantly over priced" for the protection it offers... Which is considerably more than most of what made your list...
