I think CAR was genius for Paul Castle to create, it helps in small spaces and fluidity of motion in a firefight. It might not be the 'go to' it might take forever to train to, but another tool in the arsenal is _always_ welcome. RIP Paul Castle.
Very cool video! I really want to work on this technique. I’ve been trying it during dry fire, and the only issue I run into is in the combat position with my non dominant hand side. I’m left handed and right eye dominant. But when I switch to right hand, it takes me a while to line up with my left eye. Plus, when I’m shooting in retention next to my chest with my left dominant hand, I sometimes eat a little brass. 😂 With a little work, I think I can get it.
