Also, fun fact, he is one of a few boss characters in the game who are able to survive getting shot by a gun, but only in his first appearance at Flotsam Vale where he flees after you do enough damage. Other boss characters who can survive a gunshot include Topoda, Roland, Chitan, and Firth.
Attack is actually super op, went straight for the hammer and put most of my points into attack, most bosses just get stunlocked and die. Sinker+ is broken.
The way he plays adventure games is genuinely frustrating, but at the same time i get it. He is busy and trys to beat every new game that comes out and they just keep voming out in rapid succession. But its like watching someone look at a fine piece of art and saying "yep thats certainly a painting" and quickly moving on.

Great game, but I feel like you should take your time with it and enjoy it more. Charles really rushed through it, collected maybe half the shells, half the adaptations, didn't bother exploring or picking up many items. He didn't even try most of the Umami skills, including some he unlocked. I believe he enjoyed it a lot, like he said, but his actions seemed the opposite, lol. He makes one loop while exploring and is very upset by that. He picks up one item that doesn't suit his build and calls it a waste of time. I get he has lots of games to play, but it just felt like he didn't have the gamer spirit this playthrough. Little bit frustrating as a viewer at times, but overall, I enjoyed watching

I really wanted to play like a souls like game and this was my first I loved that charlie introduced the game to me by the vid. and Btw did u get the Squid adaptation makes the game super fucking easy.

This is kind of how a real hero's journey would end. The ones closest to the hero would start to perish and they would really struggle with it. They would lose sight of the goal and focus on something goal adjacent while their mind is corrupted by the crap they have to trudge through. Eventually the world would be left a shell of its former self. No pun intended.
I think Charlie needs to post more playthroughs, it's more authentic towards his content and he doesn't post as much video gameplay like he used to. And he is decent at every game he plays, even tho he's not 100% aware he still gets the job done and I have and will continue to watch him for years, fave TH-camr, actually inspirational and real. I know I'm 6 days late my phone got stolen and going thru some stuff. Also Charlie really does get me thru tough times like now, homeless but with a phone fortunately.
