My sister had the same sort of heart-warming that the men had as they walked. It happened just after she had been told she had lots of cancerous growths. She left this earth a month later, knowing her Lord.
To me, it makes perfect sense that the Lord walked 7 miles with the two disciples. There are 7000 years of human history before eternity. I too would love to have been a fly on the wall for that testimony. Powerful --

Amen! Jesus was not a Catholic, nor was He a Protestant, etc. He was the Messiah, the Lamb of God...come to "take away the sins of the world." To pay the horrible price for all our sins. But He is no longer carrying out the office of "Lamb of God". He will never have to go that route again. He is sitting at the right hand of the majesty of God, his Father, in heaven. He is our Intercessor, our High Priest, our Redeemer Kinsman, our Advocate, our righteousness, our wisdom, our joy and our peace. Our protection from the devices of the enemy. He is our victory! He is also our Bridegroom. He is everything to us for an abundant entrance into the family of God, and the Kingdom of God! There is NO OTHER WAY! His grace is sufficient! What a great sermon! I noticed that you read from Luke 24 here, but it looks like you are at the beginning of your Bible, not the end. Do you use a Bible with the New Testament at the beginning?
Yes. I more or less assumed that. It is interesting. Our Christian Bibles are chronological, but Amir's is using the New Testament at the first. Quite appropriate in many ways. Thanks, Chris.
