i know that he is on tour, and has been perfecting his cube setup for years now. i know that he has dropped a lot of music since the 2016 album, especially the orchestral reworks album. i’m not trying to devalue that work, i’m just saying that albums of new material are typically the most important part of any musician’s career. that’s all.

I first saw deadmau5 live back in 2009 when I was 16. 10 years later and the guy is still giving me goosebumps when I hear his new tracks. GOAT
in 2011 he played 4 x 4 = 12 to a massive rave in SLC before it was released.. the full moon rising behind a mountain behind the stage, watching the sea of people from the back fence line, hearing those songs for the first time.. quite the sight and sound to to experience.. miss those days

I feel it. I work on a computer but the progressive beats like this blend into the background with the constant beat, without distracting you too much so you can still function, and when the melodies hit, it's like a rainbow in your minds eye.

You've done so many beautiful songs similar to this that I love: SATRN, Polaris (my favorite), There Might Be Coffee, I Remember, Closer, Raise Your Weapon, Bridged By A Lightwave, Imaginary Friends, The Veldt, Strobe, Avaritia, Channel 43 - Deadmau5 and Wolfgang Gartner, Jaded, Arguru, Faxing Berlin (Piano/Orchestral version), Not Exactly, Infra Turbo Pigcart Racer, Good Times, 4ware, Brazil, Some Chords, Nextra...... There are others I love, but these are my favorite. A lot of these start with just a few notes and build into an incredible song. I love it when you build from scratch so I can hear every sample or effect that's implemented. Really brilliant.
I know this comment was posted a year ago, but THANK YOU for mentioning SATRN. This song completely flew under my radar. Just listened to it and the long intro is jaw dropping to listen to and makes the payoff in the second half so worth it. Thanks a bunch.

Hearing this song for the first time live was incredible. Being at Red Rocks and hearing this for the first time was something I will remember forever. The atmosphere of the croud, the stars above, city lights below, the giant rocks to the left and right, it was the perfect combination. I just had to stand there and take it all in. Heard for the first time whist playing "Sackboy: A big adventure" and already liked so much, but didn't realize that was a Deadmau5's job.
So, this music is present in a very hard level that took me hours and hours to finish. After trying the whole day, I did it, holy cow, such a great sensation.
