Honda mechanical parts, fit & finish = precision feeling. Never felt the same working on Nissan, Toyota, etc. after I ventured away from Honda in the last 90s. But, they had all the cooler and funner FR chassis. Whereas Honda was mostly FF (aside from NSX and S2k). Currently an Ap1 owner. But wish Honda made FR cars again.

It was all oem /password jdm original sittin on GSR Blades. All motor With built LS Trans makin 312 Tuned by Inline Pro outa Va. I sold it for 4K and now that car in the oem mint condition it was in I could prolly got 15 or better. The jdm car market has gone insane. TG I traded my 2001 CBR 929 RR for a 01 Prelude I’m building now!!!

My buddy from Baltimore moved to the Valley with his, I went for a ride in his Teggy an I about died lol That torque paired with the a VTEC top end lol I did my tranny diff then 99% of the rest. Every1 had B16, GSR, or Type R for short gears. I had a LS with 7 lb flywheel , stage 3 dual disc clutch, and stage 3 pressure plate, throw out , pilot bearings , and LSD. When most would shift from 3-4 at 120ish I was still pullin the high end of my 3rd. The built motor would hold 10g shifts all day so no bs that right won 90% of my races.

I have a jdm k20a and 6 speed from a 2004 dc5 type r in my 2000 em1 civic si. It’s na as well and rips. I had to put the subframe from a dc2 gsr up front to get the engine in the optimal spot with hasport mounts.
It’s likely because the engine itself when he got it was missing many USDM ITR’s got stolen and many stripped bare bones of the engine and transmission. A salvage/rebuild ITR would be a good base for the K20/24 setup

God I miss my Uncles 01 ITR. I wouldn't ruin a legit ITR with a k20 though. I would of build it up from a base RS/LS/GSR
In my case, I would go for a K20A but from the DC5 Type R or the EP3 Type R, not the average K series from a Civic Si .

The gsr and other base models have different hubs so more work to do a k20 swap

This mild looking car does 5 seconds faster than the green ls swapped s14.
What spring rates and sway bar set up is the DC2 running, is it rear stiff? Interesting how the rear slightly slides at around 4:10.
No ideas on the spring rates and sway bar setup. I was just leaving the brakes longer to get little oversteer for the camera haha
