I have a 2004 Chevy Silverado my dome nor my reverse lights worked I replaced “TBC 2A” (Fuse) on the interior fuse box located on the driver side it’s a TRUCK BODY CONTROLLER also, make sure to check “TBC 2B” it’s a truck body controller as well. This fixed my dome and reverse lights problem.

Thought I was the only one referring to W as DOUBLE V and not DOUBLE U.... Love this!!! Ref the location of the switch, does it matter whether it is MANUAL or AUTOMATIC. Is the switch located on the left or right side of the transmission.

It could be something wrong with wiring or with switch.. Maybe I will begin to change a switch for a new one.. What you think?
Its the backup light switch or reverse light. There is an arm insde the trans which presses against the switch which activates the switch. After the switch is activated your reverse lights come on.

My wire harness on the reverse switch from the gearbox is torn. Im trying to locate or trace back to its connection but to no avail. Atos 2004. Any ideas? Thanks
My gmc truck 98 ,Dont press the switch inside the gear box , Do you know if the problem is inside my gear box or my shiffter ?, The switch works fine when i press it manually Please help me nobody knows this problem thanks

Hook up a shop vac to the dipstick creating a suction .
You can do it with oil too if you have to change the drain plug gasket or something
