Great Vlog Jordan, that park is really nice area. You really wouldn't think Cary Grant was a tripper. Jah is so adorable having a nap in his bed. Love the sign. Thanks for all your hard work

LSD helped a few other actors of that time: Anaïs Nin, Jack Nicholson, Andre Previn, James Coburn and Lord Buckley. LSD Cary Grant said "all the sadness and vanities were torn away, I've had my ego Stripped Away. A man is a better actor without ego, because he has truth in him. I'm no longer lonely and I am a happy man."
LSD has an extremely positive history, except the whole propaganda part

Wow! What a beautiful place! It looked like you wore little Jah down with the fresh air! I do kind of remember reading that Cary Grant experimented with LSD. Boy the thing with his mother was brutal no wonder his relationships didn't last long. His daughter's book looks interesting. I will have to check it out! Thanks again Jordan!

Thank you, Jordan, for making this video about a local hero of mine and an iconic Bristolian. (I've been living in Bristol for 13 years now, and my brother lives in the same district that Cary was brought up in, Horfield). (I happen to live in the same district that the rapper, Tricky, grew up in). Loved the vlog and I'm excited to see more

I just found you about a week or so ago and I'm just catching up on your videos. This was a winner. I don't think they come any better than Cary Grant, so the more time you want to spend on him the better! I'm sorry it took acid to give him some peace, but I'm glad he found something. Your vlogs are an absolute joy! Thank you so much for sharing your town and your fabulous dog with us.

I can understand why he did lsd, how you get treated as a child can really affect you. I also got sent to my grandmothers to live, because my mom's boyfriend didn't like me and now as an adult with kids, I see how wrong that was.

I don't remember Franklin Canyon looking this beautiful! I met Cary Grant in 1964 at the funeral of a good friend's father. The man was so gorgeous it was ridiculous. I wonder if fans tried to talk to him when he was tripping and how he handled it, walking around the reservoir.

Very cool vlog Jordan..... I did not know that about Cary Grant. Pretty tragic about his mother. LSD? WOW! I didn't even know he was married to Diane Cannon. I remember seeing her with Kris Kristofferson in Convoy. Anyhow, I really like Franklin Canyon. I never went there. Looks like a great place to walk and hike. I like the new sign..... You must have a very unique 99 cent store, because I've not seen anything like that here in Washington State. And there all over the place. Well, thanks again Jordan for the awesome vlog. I'll catch you on the next one. Take care... . Arthur Childs. Oak Harbor, WA. 🙂

Daze with Jordan the Lion Cool sign, man & love the name of your channel! I had heard the Andy Griffith fishing hole was a Reservoir! I have always wondered where that was shot! Cool to finally see it & also where the shack was for the BH! Thanks! Wild info! Like a few extra bonuses for what I showed up to see/hear! “Good stuff” as Grant said to Jennifer! 🙏🏼😃 Love your cute little dog, Jaw! Cute as a button! So Happy he healed himself with LSD! I just heard that about the subconscious meeting the conscience mind in another vlog from Grant’s Autobiographical Essay! Do you know where we can find this essay? Is it in libraries or is it a book? I’d love to read this! I do believe LSD helped him so greatly, as well as others & it’s my belief it was banned for THIS reason! Thanks! He was an amazing man, not just an amazing actor! I knew most of this, but not that his dad told him there was no room for him after telling him his mother was dead! WOW! That would mess up anyone! Did you get this info from Jennifer’s book, Good Stuff, or Grant’s Autobiographical Essay? I’d like to read both when I can! GREAT STORY! Love all things Cary Grant! Thanks again! 🙏🏼♥️✨

Grant was one of the favorites to be the first James Bond. Albert Broccoli and Cary were old friends and Broccoli pressured Cary to play Bond around the time they were casting for DOCTOR NO, but Grant wasn’t interested in committing to an entire series of films. But if you watch his performance in NOTORIOUS, you can clearly see what an incredible James Bond he would have made. Sorry, nothing to do with LSD, but it’s one of my favorite stories…

He had his mother’s eyes... Right! He had problems with women because his subconscious had been programmed to believe he would lose the women in his life, from losing his mother at such a young age...until one is aware of that...one cannot change it! I’m so happy LSD helped helped so much! 🙏🏼♥️ What a wonderful & smart father he turned out to be! I’d love to read all that you have read about him! 😊

He didn't "drop" acid. He was a patient and had LSD administered by doctors. He gave a positive interview of LSD and that what started the early LSD craze. That's how it started anyway but everything else you said is most likely correct, sincerely correct.
Try and find the interview Cary Grant did in 1959 will syndicated gossip columnist Joe Hyams and you'll discover his original thoughts on the experience.
