lately I've been getting into synth and what a better way to keep my interest than songs I know already bop. My friend this is no exception to the boppage
wooo great track! hoping you would kindly accept some criticism though? i loved your guitar solo. that sold the song to me. the guitar tone is great and it fits perfectly over the song. I think the sound design and synth selection is great, especially the strings/pad. they really add a lot to the song. I think you just needed to polish your arrangement a little more? this can be a masterpiece if you maybe let the intro sit a little longer, because I think it was an abrupt entry into the song. maybe introduce the strings/pad or the lead a little later in the track. that might let the listener feel the groove first before the melody and that works wonders for electronic music. also you should add riser cymbals before every drop to make it hit harder. toby does it, pretty much every electronic artist does it. it really helps a lot. and I say that only because it was such a groove man. perfect drums. it's just so sweet, reeking with 80s vibes. the bass synth was really sweet too. so yeah you nailed it. keep improving. you've got a bright road ahead man! can't wait to listen to the rest of your stuff.

Most of the song either uses Serum or The Legend, which is a minimoog emulator. For making Synthwave in particular I highly recommend The Legend. The guitar is Shreddage 3 Serpent, using the 80’s lead preset. The drums I use here are part of a free 80’s drum kit.
