I absolutely love the lycanthropic approach, especially considering the time period. Instead of him being half aware, or even completely unconscious on such transformations he kept his consciousness from a backseat view and lycanthropy drove the car.
I also love how they approached the subject of him serving in the military, and how little people thought of respect to soldiers. While one investigator blatantly disregarded the horrors he witnessed and scorned the mans tags, the other had a deep but brief insight and understanding of how that changes a person. Beautiful soundtrack as well

I almost wrote it off as predictable, but the execution, rewatchability, and world building made this a winner.

Loved that line too. I laughed.
The actors definitely made this one a success. He played it SO cool while the whole time she was in the friggin bathroom. Jesus!

Beautifully filmed! These short films pack so much into a few minutes. Works of art and far more entertaining than 2.5 hours including additive crap just used to fit a time frame. These films are like a short story but filmed with enough reticence to still make the imagination work. My Thanks for the viewing experience!

What is so interesting is that the office seems to be in the 40’s or early 50’s where everything is vintage or retro that looks dark, but when you come to the bright white bathroom , everything looks modern like in the 70’s or in the early 80’s( the supposed murder scene). When I was watching this movie I went back and forth into a time warp.

Totally faked me out. When it said "she never works nights" and then all those people killed at her place, and she was missing. I so thought she was the monster--killing at night. Really thought he was innocent till the reveal.

I sit and binge watch short horrors on TH-cam all the time and I've come across some good ones, some bad ones, some really bad ones and then this.... this was beyond the best short I've ever seen! I got really into it and forgot it was a short and was so bummed out when it ended. Awesome job! One thing though... some comments I saw that people said he had a demon alter ego but when he was talking to the woman outside the club, she said something about alot of people coming out when its a full moon and he said something like more than just that or something and she said something about Claude and he made her promise to go right home after so I thought he was a werewolf? Is he?
Awesome video. Usually random people get killed, but these actually had a connection. It seemed like an old mobster theme setting, pretty cool.

This was fantastic. Not that you would know this, but I don’t comment very often. But when I do, it’s because of something outstanding or absolutely horrible. This...this was outstanding. I can attest to the fact that there are some horror & sci-fi shorts (they’re the only ones I watch), by far, supersede Hollywood full length films. Sometimes, talent goes a lot further than just money. Excellent job. One thing I’m surprised about...why have we not seen more of this talent from you?

I THOROUGHLY ENJOYED THAT!! WELL DONE. Should be a full length movie. my money was on the snotty cop as the werewolf at first. but now in hindsight, i understand why he was in such a rush to leave the alleyway. Full Moon! Gr8 job. Also loved the "Mike Hammer" style.
This was fun! Loved the scene pitting the protagonist against the antagonist. For those too young to remember noir, this may inspire a few to give such flicks a try.

This has good acting and a stylish 1940's noir vibe (though at one point I saw a TV from the early 1960's) I'd like to see a prequel to this that maybe explains how the protagonist picked up his demonic alter ego...perhaps something that happened to him in World War II, or something in his genes? My husband's father was a WWII vet, and although he was a quiet man who was only about 5 feet in height, he was supposedly capable of shredding men much bigger than himself. They trained him to be that way.

FAN-FUCKING-TASTIC! That sums it up nicely. The plot - great. The acting, especially the lead, Charlie, TOP-NOTCH! The lighting? Very "film noire"! Please do more! It really was brilliant. And I don't do "monster movies", and almost turned it off when I saw it was about werewolves. SO glad I didn't! Thanks for sharing!

Haven't watched the whole film yet, but, *GREAT* attention to detail! The non-filtered cigarette @ 4:33 was great! Most people woulda just gone with a regular cigarette, but the didn't have filters back then. Not a big deal, but it shows you care! Kudos! Now, back to the movie!

How did you created the voice of Claude at 14:09 ? Of all the horror films I've seen, it is the most ominous and demonic. Is it possible to reproduce the effect with a software like Audacity ?

Man this was well done. Gr8 script and screenplay...who ever did their research on a period piece circa spot WW11did a gr8 job...I am a historian and I also owned a small film company so I’m big on dissecting films...first I watch for the entertainment, then I watch it for the editing, third for continuity and last, see if stuff fits in that period. I’ve always heard directors and producers squirm when a period piece is before them...bc they have to have a lot of research to make it believable...I mean urs would have been ruined if Frankie used a cell-phone...or used a Bic lighter! Lol really well done. New spin on an old theme! Oh gr8 casting!
