Does the monarch intel actually matter outside of a match like are they necessary for some event exclusive item
One of the 8 challenges is 'collect 3000 monarch Intel'.
It's mainly good for 2 things:
1. Reaching your S.C.R.E.A.M device, which wins games. Pretty fuckin broken. Satisfying af. Gotta get like 80 or 100 Intel to reach your S.C.R.E.A.M, but man is it overpowered if you use it right. Covers the entire final circle, easily squad wipes multiple foes.
2. Gives you a speed boost with overdrive, and replenishes your armor completely, so if you're getting shot and happen to grab one, you're practically invincible, double the armor and a speed demon. They're toast if it's a mid-range, or close-range fight. Also helps you escape gas or move around quickly while completing objectives. You can reach overdrive by simply shooting a titan, and just run stupidly fast everywhere.
I think the big supply markers with monarch Intel counted as 20 Intel, so you could collect a few of those and have your S.C.R.E.A.M really quickly or use them to obtain 3000 very fast for the challenge.
@@Aflay1 so does that mean if you take damage and lose like 2 armor players by collecting an Intel you get 1 armor plate back? Along with overdrive? Wow that's OP. Also, what causes the armor to be sometimes orange and have only 2 long bars instead of 3 short bars?

No, ALL of your armor. All 3 slots. Lmao
And the two orange armor plates means you grabbed an operator class that lets you replace armor 2 slots at a time instead of 3. Kinda handy.
Overdrive is especially OP if you know how to crouch cancel. Have you moving like the Flash.
