    lots of good info in this video. broke my case the exact same way when I was putting it back together after a thorough cleaning. got a replacement case for about 20 bucks I think. thanks for posting.

    I appreciate the video...Thanks I put my brush in wrong at first. It barely had a curvature to it.

    If this was done on a white piece of paper for a contrasting background it would be way easier to see detail. Great job though. Thanks!

      @@ElectronicsEditor I start my rebuild tomorrow. I'll remember those two ball bearings plus many more of the detailed information you generously provided. Thanks again and remember that your efforts are appreciated. Take care and stay safe.

    I took the blade parts off to clean it and cannot figure out how to put them back where they belong. 🙄

      At 39:15 it will show you how it should go back together. Also, watch about 2:30 and follow the procedure backward. I hope you figure it out.

      @@ElectronicsEditor I'll try again. I took EVERYTHING off to clean out the dog hair then didn't put it back together immediately. I had been grooming a 100lb long haired German Shepherd and was beat. It's hard for me to see how the parts that secure the blades go back in place. 🙄👵

      The hardest part of the whole repair. Lol...

    to my thinking you don't oil the track as you call it, that grips the cutter and moves it. you oil the metal on metal areas

    • @ElectronicsEditor
      @ElectronicsEditor  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If I remember correctly, that piece that lays in the track holds the two blades tight together, while a plastic piece sits in the middle of the top blade and moves it back and forth. It felt like it didn't move the blade very well until I oiled it. It worked great afterwards. I haven't heard any bad news about it since, so I hope it's still working well. The manual wasn't too helpful about that I guess. Thanks for your input. I appreciate it.

      @@ElectronicsEditor hmmm.... you have a point. i'll have a closer look. i'm going to strip mine down before the next cut. i didn't know about the small ball bearings, so thx for the info. your tool pins slipped out of the eyes, and when it expanded it cracked the body... correct? i'll be extra careful now. thx for the video

      @@flyingnukes Yes, that is how I cracked it. Be careful, and good luck.

      @@ElectronicsEditor i have mine stripped down atm. a good clean and i'll start building it. wouldn't it be an idea to add a big blob of grease on top of everything as well? thx

    • @ElectronicsEditor
      @ElectronicsEditor  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@flyingnukes I would think if you put too much in, that when the unit gets warm or hot, it may start to leak grease out anywhere it can. Too much sometimes is just overkill.
