    You really nailed it Hafiz, I sold my X50 because of the seats and headrest. They give you body ache and numbness after a short two hour drive.

    one thing that Honda always lacking on the lower range cars is the auto dimming rear view mirror which is quite important. Even the highest spec Vios has it in Malaysia but it is not available in the entire City and HRV range.

    I’m aiming for V spec version of new HRV. However as the price over 100k so I just bought Ativa Av instead. Even tough far lower than Hrv. Still I have experiance with Turbo Suv with full spec 😊. HRV Turbo still as one of my dream cars.

    Good one Hafiz. Yes, I agree with you that the turbo version is a better bet.
    Another point is the road noise intrusion into the cabin. X70 is definitely a quieter vehicle vs this HRV

    Excellent review. I'm watching this from Manila, and I'm wondering how come Honda Philippines did not bring the hybrid variant here. I do appreciate the honest comparison with the Toyota Corolla Cross.

    I agree that the Honda sensing is far more superior than the Perodua ASA.. but 1 thing I hope Honda really improve is the adaptation of BSM instead of lane watch as lane watch is only for 1 lane.. and also RCTA.. with those 2 available in the hrv that car can sell

    I have the HRV turbo 2023 for about a month now with almost 2k mileage , the car accelerates very quickly , especially when combining turbo with V-TEC kicking in at 4k rpm , I manage to gap a BMW X6 in acceleration that was tailgating me 😳 , the bmw guy got humbled soon after hahah

    Good review, Hafiz ! I agree the Honda turbo is much better than the hybrid. Just add another 15K and you can setlle for the full EV BYD. Noise from the Honda tyres is quite bad, some plasticky and cheap looking dashboard panel, very low rear headroom (I'm 179cm and bumps my head), price factor are some of the low pointers in Honda !

    The front row is very comfortable, but the rears are not. Infact, i would call it spartan if it wasnt for the rear AC vents.
    But i get why honda did this i guess. That rear will usually be empty most of the time anyways, and thanks to origami folding rear seats, its gonna do some heavy lifting. So it needs to be tougher. Just wish the rear headrest isnt so tough😅
    Seriously, we chopped down about 50kg of sugarcane from my sister’s house n loaded it all to the rear of the HRV, and it extended all to the folded-down rear seats. U ever held sugarcane in ur hands? On slip n ur hand itchy for the whole day.
    Also, that 1.5T can hustle… 180hp in a 1400kg body is zippy. Heck, i hammed it all the way to 210kmh on ELITE on a wee sunday morning. Heheh

    They should bring it as a proper 5 seater in India else it's doomed.
    Those bucket seats in the rear is good but folks will reject it the moment they hear that something of this price is 4 seater.

    th-cam.com/video/BDsu1yNhEus/w-d-xo.html
    Honda Sensing with just a camera setup depends solely on the camera's optical ability to "see". This is okay in good visibility condition. But without a front radar, this will not work so well in other less ideal conditions, such as when it is just white out fog, heavy rain, or even on poorly-lit street like many kampung roads in Malaysia.

    • @Nabilllllll
      @Nabilllllll ปีที่แล้ว

      even with a radar, the cruise control will not work in foggy or heavy rain conditions. A warning will pop up on the meter during heavy rain telling that the ACC is not available. This is my very own experience with my Civic FC TCP facelift
